Congrats! You have signed your Housing

Contract, which includes a Dining Plan, good for

use at 17 Dining Services restaurants, markets,

and specialty locations across campus.

Our HDH Dining locations operate like any

restaurant or market located outside of campus—

decide to purchase as much or as little as you

need, and pay only for those items. This “à la carte”

style of service is designed to provide flexibility,

so that you’re not charged a flat rate just to walk

through the door.

Dining Plans are billed with your Housing Contract

so that costs may be distributed throughout the

year based on the Housing payment plan you

selected. The Dining Plan is linked to your campus

ID card, and your entire plan balance is available

upon move-in. When you purchase items, the

register will reflect your transaction and remaining

account balance. Dining Dollars are good

throughout the year and into the summer; however,

they do not roll over to the next academic year.

The Dining Plans are designed to provide flexibility,

with the understanding that you will occasionally

be eating off campus, going home for weekends,

or cooking in your room/apartment.

In other words: These Dining Plans will not

support 3 meals per day, 7 days a week.

Lower Dining Plan options are available for

Apartment residents, with the assumption that

they will utilize their full kitchens. Resident Hall

students typically like to explore the restaurants

and rely more on prepared food, so larger Plan

options are provided.

DiningDollarsareacceptedatallHDHlocations;

pleaseseefoldoutmapforreference.

Options for ResHall and Apartment residents:

The 3900 Plan: A more comprehensive

Dining Plan if you’re going to be on campus

all day, most days, or have a big appetite! This

plan provides you about $116 per week to budget

throughout the year. Recommended for residents

who will primarily use their Dining Dollars in

HDH locations.

The 3536 Plan: A flexible Dining Plan, meant to

cover about $105 a week for the average student.

A good plan for residents who find themselves

going home some weekends, or occasionally

enjoying meals outside of our HDH Dining facilities.

Additional options for Apartment residents only:

The 3150 Plan: For apartment residents who

want to shop off campus for groceries, in the

HDH markets, and do most of their own cooking.

This plan provides about $93 per week to budget

throughout the year.

The 2740 Plan: The minimum choice Dining Plan,

providing approximately $81 per week to budget

throughout the year. Recommended for residents

who plan on preparing their own meals and dining

mostly outside of HDH locations.

Additional Dining Dollars – BONUS!

Residents can add additional Dining Dollars to their Dining Plan at any time. As an incentive to add and

use Dining Dollars, you will receive a 20% bonus every time you make a deposit over $100!
