STRIPPING PROCESSES Enthone, New Haven, Conn. Enstrip GT stripping processes are high-perfor- mance chemical strippers, which are used for se- lective coating removal in the overhaul and repair of hot- and cold-section turbine components. En- strip GT was developed specifically for the aero- space industry to selectively remove coatings and filler metals without damage to the base metal. These strippers provide an engineering process for selective removal of various coatings and brazes allowing recoating or disassembly to refurbish or upgrade hardware. Production experience has proven that Enstrip GT strippers provide an eco- nomic alternative to mechanical stripping. Signif- icant cost savings can be realized through in- creased productivity.
