I know everyone is relieved now that we have no deadlines, but it also is a little sad leaving us with not much to look forward to as a quilt group….for me at least. The Show was fantastic and Barbara Pike and her team of helpers did another wonderful job. The vendors all had a great time. The food was fabulous! And, what can one say about the variety and quality of the quilts in the show. Everywhere I looked people were laughing and yakking, having a great time. It was interesting to watch how serious the people looked as they were trying to find a favorite quilt to vote for. My, oh, my….some took that task very seriously!! Please come to the Sept meeting which will really be a YQF wrap up meeting and not so much a Guild Meeting. We will start our meeting at 5:00. Barbara Pike is furnishing dinner for all of us. It would be nice if you would RSVP to me so I can give her a rough idea of how many will be attending. This meeting will be to discuss the show. If you have ideas for improvement, changes or new ideas for the next show, please come to the meeting. Everyone’s opinion and ideas are valuable to those in charge of the next show. RSVP Marybeth 754-5399 or [email protected]. If no answer wait through all the beeps and leave a message. Thanks, Marybeth
