I really wanted the children to engage in the action of painting rather than just focus on what they were creating, although that is equally important.

I believe that it is important to view art as something that can be expressed through our bodies and not just through physical representations of our work.

Children reactions to art

The children thoroughly enjoyed slipping and sliding the with the feet painting and enjoyed feel the different sensations and textures of the paint.

The children were able to express their movement through the painting through movement, and I noticed many different explorations through the children art in this lesson.
