Mechanized Systems of Crop Intensification (MSCI)

After the success of the Mechanized System of Rice Intensification (MSRI) developed by FarmAll Technology during the 2009 rice production season:

FarmAll has adapted SRI concepts and methodology to other crops, as seen from the following slides.

Results shall be shared during the season as the crops progress.

• 5 rows at 9-inch spacing planted on a 42-inch bed

• Lower seed rate is used, 25 to 30 kg per acre, compared to 60 to 80 kg

• 350 kg/ha compost and 100 kg of NPK per acre are banded
