• Pakistan is sixth most populated country in theworld (796095 km2)
• 36th largest country in terms of area.
• Major sectors of Pakistan are agriculture,health care, industrial and education.
• Other sectors include services sector, defense,mining, textile, finance, housing, chemical andpharmaceutical, foreign trade etc.

• Pakistan is the 27th largest economy in theworld that is agricultural economy
• Pakistan has large reserve of naturalresources, which include oil, coal, iron, andore, copper, salt and gold.
• Pakistan has the 2nd largest salt mine, 2ndlargest coal reservoirs and 5th largest goalmine in the world.
• Although Pakistan is an agricultural countrythere are a number of sectors in Pakistan.

arable land and water
• In Pakistan, the most agricultural province is
Punjab where wheat and cotton are the most
grown.
• Mango orchards are mostly found in Sindh and
Punjab
