NOTICE FOR ALL TRE CERTIFICATE HOLDERS

LIST OF MARGIN ELIGIBLE SECURITIES

ACCEPTABLE AS COLLATERAL FOR ALL MARKETS

In terms of the definition of Margin Eligible (ME) Securities prescribed under the Risk Management Regulations, the Exchange with approval of the Commission given vide its letter No. SMD/SE/2(7)/2002 dated January 14, 2016 has revised the Margin Eligible Securities.

Based on the approved Criteria for the Selection of ME Securities, a list of 111 ME Securities as per Annexure-A of this Notice will be acceptable as collateral by the Exchange for all markets with effect from Monday, February 22, 2016, based on at least 30 days advance notice as required under the clause 1 9.5.6(h) of the aforesaid Regulations.

Moreover, the Exchange has also been accepting 1-Bills and electronic units of CDC Eligible Open-End Funds as collateral for all markets, which are categorized as Money Market Schemes in accordance with the Criteria prescribed by the Commission vide its circular No.7 dated March 6, 2009, the list of Eligible Open-End Funds is also enclosed herewith for your information as Annexure-B.

Furthermore, in terms of the definition of Bank Guarantee acceptable as collateral under the Risk Management Regulations of the Exchange, the list of A Rated Banks whose Guarantee will be acceptable is enclosed herewith as Annexure-C.

Therefore, you are hereby advised to update your collateral deposited with the Exchange in terms of new ME Securities before Monday, February 22, 2016, failing which, the Exchange reserves the right to valieijeligible ME Securities as ZERO on or after the effective date.
