TUSIF AHMED’S WORK DISPLAYED AT GADFLY THEATRE, DALKEITH

Tusif Ahmed’s Papercutting art was definitely admired by those who

were presented at the opening night. If you have got time please

visit the gallery to appreciate the creativity through Tusif’s

imagination. The exhibition will run till 24th June.

Another of his exhibition has commenced at Kulcha Art Galllery so

there is a choice for people who live in Fremantle as well.

Do visit and support his work. It is definitely a great display of art

and is worth watching.

AN EVENING WITH SOHAIL WARRAICH

A great collaborative effort by all friends and collegues to welcome Mr. Sohail Warraich. This

definitley generated an intelligent discussion. While Amina contacted the guest, Bilal and Ahmed

took the responsibility of logistics, Umer conducted the program, Rida managed the catering and

Samar publicised the program so it was upto

the guest to turn up and interact in a relaxing

environment at UWA. While we started 12

mins late we definitely finished in time. Mr.

Warraich and Munir are now back home and

have sent a message to share with

friends.The photographs have been

uploaded on our page.

RAMCHAND PAKISTANI ON MEGA SCREEN

Finally the movie has been given a green signal from the organisers

and it will be screened on mega screen. The suggested timings are

8.30 because of the nature of the movie. Due to winter season the

screening has to wait till September. As per members’ feedback we

will be requesting the movie to be screened on a Sunday at 8.30 pm.

Our preference is now during school holidays and that it does not

clash with Royal show. At the same time we are also planning to have

another movie Bol to be screened in November to coincide with

Telethon so Pakistani community can contribute towards this event.

Keeping fingers crossed.
