3. LONG, LOOSE, COMFORTABLE DRESSES: They may have been shorter back in the forties, but ladies used to call them house dresses. Now, they’re long, upgraded, more formal, but still expressing the same idea. Some people are calling them day gowns, which pretty well says it. Prints are extravagant, colors are often intense, and jewelry is mandatory!
4. STATEMENT JEWELRY: Styles are getting bigger, more individualistic. Look for items with a one-of-a-kind mystique to them.
5. TORTOISE SHELL SUNGLASSES: Boasting frames of the perennially chic tor-toise shell, they add a glamorous note of luxury to any wardrobe.
6. INSECT INVASION: Watch out! The insects are coming and you could be eaten alive! Spiders lead the way, embellishing handbags, jewelry, everything fashionable. Butterflies aren’t far behind the (spider) binge.
7. CHUNKY COCKTAIL RINGS: Think wonderful faux gemstones. This is a Romanoff-mimicking jewelry trend, with everything super-big, super-rich, super-extravagant.
8. SHINE: Everything is slippery, shiny, light-reflective! Leather is an all-time shine wardrobe factor.
9. MIXED METALS: An-other surge of interest in mixed metals is show-ing how well silver and gold really go together. The mix can be in one piece of jewelry, or as two separate pieces worn together.
10. INSANELY HIGH SPIKE HEELS: Ev-eryone is raving about the remarkably creative designs showing up in shoes right now.

Insurance. Most of us have mixed feelings on the subject. The reality is, that in today’s world, it’s difficult to be without it. Occasionally, people ask, “What’s the best kind of insurance?” The answer is simple: “The kind that’s in force in your time of need.” Whether it’s auto, home or life insurance, we don’t often give it much thought until we need it, and if we don’t have it, it’s too late.
Let’s talk about auto insurance. Most states in the U.S. require anyone who drives and/or owns a vehicle to have the vehicle insured. Why is that? Very simply, it’s for everyone’s protection. In the state of Idaho, the minimum liability limit requirements are $25,000 per person , $50,000 per accident for bodily injury and $15,000 for property damage. Most of us don’t have $50,000 to carry in our back pocket to pay for injuries.
Looking at it another way. If another driver hits your car and as a result you are hospi-talized and your car is no longer drivable, what would you do? You would likely expect that person to pay your hospital bills and to either repair or replace your vehicle, right? If the at-fault driver has insurance, as the injured party you’ll have your bills paid and car repaired or replaced. As the at-fault driver, that person will not suffer an excessive financial burden that may otherwise leave them financially insolvent.
Insurance can be a complicated matter and every person has a unique circumstance, therefore, my recommended solution is to have a trusted advisor, an agent.
In an age when business transactions seem to be less and less personal, I believe that it’s still important to shake someone’s hand and to be able to have a face to face conversation.

Si todos tenemos aseguranza, ninguno tiene que preocuparse porque am-bos están amparados por la póliza del chofer que ocasio-no el accidente. La compañía pagará sus gastos médicos y el asegurado no se enfrentará con un golpe económico devastador.
El tema de los seguros puede ser algo complejo y cada persona tiene una circunstancia unica. Por esta razón mi recomendación es tener alguien en quien confiar, como un agente o corredor de seguros. En una epoca cuando todo parece ser menos personal, es aún muy importante el poder ír a visitar una oficina local y plati-car en persona con alguien en quien usted confia.

Éxito, una palabra que mo-tiva a muchos. Una palabra que frecuentemente es defi-nida y medida a través de riqueza, títulos y posesio-nes. La medida real de un hombre/mujer se encuen-tra en la trayectoria de su vida y el éxito se refleja en el que lo posee.
Iván Castillo, un nativo de Mazatlan Sinaloa México viajó a los Esta-dos Unidos hace 12 años con su nueva esposa Angie. A su llegada en los Estados Unidos el no hablaba Inglés, sin embargo el estaba de-cidido a dejar su mar-ca en este nuevo país, apoyar a su nueva esposa Angie y tener una vida exitosa en el Treasure Valley.
Iván empezó traba-jando como barman mientras que
estudiaba y así logró obtener su GED en tan solo 3 meses. Fue muy importante para Iván aprender las leyes y comprender como el sistema del gobierno de los Estados Unidos funcionaba, entonces el tomó 26 clases acerca del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos. Un tiempo después el empezó a trabajar en Circuit City. Su conocimiento de Inglés todavía era muy bajo, sin embargo el se enfocaba continua-mente y estudiaba Inglés. Su determinación, trabajo y esfuerzo empezaban a ser recompensados. Un año y medio después fue promovido a Gerente de Ventas por la compañía multimillonaria Circuit City.
De repente Iván sintió que necesitaba un nuevo reto y se cambió de trabajo a AT&T Cingular donde trabajaba y avanzaba continuamente. Después de 4 años en AT&T Cingular sintió nuevamente que era el momento para un nuevo reto y aventura. El decidió seguir hacia adelante con su pasión en Bienes Raíces. Su primera aventura fue grande, empezó en Santa Fe Homes donde con su socio de negocios construye-ron su primera casa. Nuevamente Iván siguió adelante y decidió que sirviendo a la Comunidad como consultor de Bienes Raíces era ideal con su personalidad y pasión. Iván ha pasado los últimos 4 años en Bienes Raíces y está actualmente en Keller Williams, The Castle Group donde el es el dueño actual.
La pasión que Iván tiene por la vida y la comunidad está expuesta con lo que el llena en su vida. Como un agente de Bienes Raíces exitoso, el tiene la capacidad de servir a la comunidad y ayudar a los demás a lograr el sueño Americano de ser el dueño de una casa propia.
No solo ha progresado y ha tenido un trayecto exitoso a través de su carrera pero ha sido exitoso en servir a nuestra comunidad. Iván hace una diferencia en la vida de muchos, sirviendo como el vicepresidente para Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Com-merce, como el director local para Nampa Association de Realtors, como miembro
de consejo de la fundación SABER, miembro de Hispanic Chamber Open Golf Tournament y participa en el consejo pastoral para la iglesia Our Lady of the Valley.

Success, a word that drives many. A word that is often defined and measured through wealth, titles and possessions. The real measure of a man/woman is found in the journey and success is viewed in the eyes of the beholder.
Ivan Castillo, a native of Mazatlan Sinaloa Mexico journeyed to the US 12 years ago with his new wife Angie. Upon his arrival in the US he did not speak any English. However he was determined to make his mark in this new country, support his new wife Angie and have a wonderful life in the Treasure Valley.
Ivan began working as a bartender while he studied for and earned his GED in just 3 months. It was important for Ivan to learn the laws and understand how the United States government system worked so he took 26 classes of American Government. Soon thereafter he became an employee of circuit city. His knowledge of English was still very minor however he continually focu-sed and studied English. His determination and hard work was beginning to pay off. A short 1.5 years later he became sales manager for the multi-million dollar circuit city store.
Ivan soon felt that he needed a new challenge and moved over to AT & T Cingular where he worked and continually advanced. After 4 years at AT & T cingular he again felt it was time for a new challenge and venture. He decided to move towards his passion, Real Estate. His first venture in Real Estate was a big one, he started Sante Fe Homes where he along with his business partner built their first home. Again Ivan moved forward in Real Estate and decided that serving the community as a Real Estate consultant best met his personali-ty and passion. Ivan has spent the past 4 years in Real Estate and is presently

As a family man Ivan has made sure he was successful in his family life. His key to success is the time and tradition he has created with his family. Ivan spends time with his family through en-tertaining, Fiesta’s and family oriented parties. His favorite tradition he has created with his family is going on a 4th of July camping trip each year.
As Ivan has journeyed throughout life and he has found that 80% of success is to be there and 20% is the effort that you put in. He stron-gly feels that the only way to make our com-munity change is to stop being a spectator and participate.
Ivan came to the United States as a successful man. He has journeyed far in the past 12 years and continues to find success down the paths he chooses to take. The journey of each indivi-dual is where we find success.

Look back to when you were 6 or 7 years old. Remember back to when the sky was the limit and anything was possible. Back to a time when your entire life was ahead of you and you had great dreams of what the future would hold. As many of us grew we soon found that dreams had vanished and a common reality had set-in, a reality where money and time is a commodity.
What if I told you there was an opportunity that could drastically change your life? What if I told you that you could provide for your family, have the lifestyle that you have dreamt of and have extra time? You might tell me this seems too good to be true. Chad Taylor thought the same thing until Nouveau Riche drasti-cally changed his life.
Chad Taylor was down a career path that he didn’t expect. After loosing his job as a commercial real estate appraiser he began working as a correctional officer at the prison. The negative environment quickly got to him where he began to loose his focus and get depressed from the lack of spirit and poor pay.
He had an entrepreneurial spirit burning in him and was constant-ly looking for a new opportunity and way to support his family. Chad was tired of working for someone else and watching them leverage resources to make mon-ey off of him. He knew it was time to venture out and try something new.

Real estate was a passion for Chad. With a background as a commercial appraiser he knew that real estate investing was the route he wanted to go. A recent study conducted by Galaxy Research found that three quarters of dads nominated their father as the person from whom they learned their most important life skills.
Shaving, riding bikes, driving and changing tires are the skills that men attributed to their dads.
At first glance these may not appear too startling but dig a little deeper and you find that they attribute vital lifelong success characteristics to their dads.
High work ethic, honesty, supportiveness and loyalty were all values that men directly attributed to their dads.
The results of the study show that dad is the ‘doing’ guy.
Mothers tend to interact with their kids differently. They are more verbal, more astute at developing interpersonal skills and more likely to reveal what is on their mind.
The language of fatherhood is about activity – dads teach many of their important lessons through activity.
Learning to be a good sport, to share and to work toward a goal are lessons that dads teach their kids in very hands-on ways.
The study also showed that it was through activity that men formed their relationships with their dads.
Boys Grow Into Their Dads
Little boys want to be like their dads. They attribute superman-like qualities to their fathers. Dads need to make the most of this while they can because their sons become teenagers and try hard to reveal their feet of clay.
The GOOD NEWS is that the Galaxy Survey showed that most men still want to be ‘like their dad.’ That boyhood dream doesn’t diminish in adulthood. That’s lucky as most men become like their fathers, hopefully better versions!

Los niños quieren ser como sus padres. Atribuyen a sus padres cualidades de superhombre. Los padres ne-cesitan dar lo máximo de sí porque luego sus hijos se convierten en adolescentes y se empeñan en buscarles defectos.
Lo BUENO de la investigación de Galaxy es que muestra que la mayoría de los hombres siguen queriendo ser “como sus padres”. Este sueño de niño no disminuye con la adultez. Esto es bueno porque la mayoría de los hombres se convierten en sus padres, pero por suerte en ¡mejores versiones!
