Explore the strange history of Halloween, from Old World harvest festivals to

our modern family holiday with author, photographer and lecturer Kevin Woyce.

With original photographs and vintage images, Kevin reveals the origins of the

Jack o’Lantern and other traditions; tells the stories behind the 1938 “War of the

Worlds” radio broadcast and the first monster movies; and takes audiences on

a tour of haunted lighthouses and hotels. Coffee and tea will be served.
