AN EXTRAORDINARYDAVIE HOME WITH AN

OPULENT FLARE

Sherri Goode’s goal was to take the interiors ofthis 11,430 s/f floor plan, featuring 5 bedrooms,7 bathrooms, a fully equipped gym, theater andthe 2nd floor that features arcade games, a cus-tom poker table , bar and pool table. A true"MAN CAVE" and turn it into a “warm, cozy,yet elegant, functional environment” for herclients and their two gorgeous Siberian Huskies,Kodi and Kalli. A home that they could trulycall home. The overall Motif is Transitional innature and required much needed attention tofulfill the clients expectations.

The "Formal Living Room" had to be spectac-ular, says Goode! It is the main focus when en-tering into the home. The views are spectacularfrom every room . A myriad of finishes such asmother of pearl and mirror mosaics were usedto create a detailed look throughout the interior.This open floor plans allows for great entertain-ing. The feature wall consists of abstract art-work flanking the center applied box moldingcovered in a black geometric suede wall paperfrom Europe . White and silver root balls aresuspended in a snakelike pattern. This backdropgives the space a warm and eclectic feel. Thesofa and swivel chairs were custom made in aluxurious fabric. The 85-light crystal MariaTheresa chandelier is the "STUNNER" in theroom provided by Pierre's Fine Art Lighting. Itis suspending from a 27' coffered ceiling thatreflects into the custom diamond beveled master piece mirrorover the fireplace. The window treatmentsdrapes from underneath the crown molding andare comprised of a silk black and gold jacquardvelvet with a six inch puddle. Opulence is nodoubt, the vibe throughout.

The "Family room, Kitchen and Breakfast" areais a very important space in this project. It hadto accommodate the needs for seating a largefamily and friends. This open floor plan allowsfor this to take place. . Paying attention to detailsis a great reflection of the client's personality andstyle . This task was paramount for Sherri Goodeto achieve. The lighting in this space was first tomake a statement. Each of these areas have coor-

dinating Modern crystal glass pendants. The mo-torized window treatments wrap around the roomto create a warm feel. The L-shaped sectionalsofa is motorized and is made from Swedishhides in a dark brown Elmo leather . The customswivel barstools wrap around the kitchen barwhich is centrally located in this floor plan.

As you enter the dining room you aremesmerized by what you see. Thecustom dining table is 164" x 56 " insize . It is comprised of two silverroot marble slabs with a double ogeeedge. This is a true "one-of-a-kind"beauty . This marble top sits on top ofa multiple custom Corinthian columnwood base. Two Maria Theresa 25-light crystal chandeliers in a chromefinish are strategically placed over thedining room table. The walls areadorned with a European soft suedewallcovering based on the uniquestructure of the ancient skin of aDwarf Rhino's body. The customwood China cabinet houses 10 piecesof Lalique crystal which is the ulti-mate symbol of French luxury. Thecustom diamond, 1/2" bevel cut mir-ror is the perfect accent for the built inChina cabinet. The twelve diningroom chairs are covered in cut velvetwith a coordinating faux skin seat.The host and hostess chairs areslightly larger.

The master bedroom, a true space thatemits opulence! A 24 light customgolden diamond crystal chandelier iscentrally located in the space whichcreates a "Wow" factor. The mirroredMarge Carson bed gives the bedrooma touch of class. A custom draperycrown molding pocket wrappedaround the room housing the ripplefold window treatments. The shag rugadds softness and texture to the spaceto emit warmth.

The Custom Theater is a True ManCave ...A great escape. This theaterwas designed by Frank Escobar ofCSI Sound Theater Designs and Topia Enterprises. This theater is fullyequipped with the top of the lineequipment, sound and acoustics. Thefour polished chrome, 72" longtorchiere sconces flank the 4 woodcolumns in the theater which is a per-fect accent against the dark stainedwood providing a "WOW" factor!

This bar is "Spectacular". The real definition of a Mancave. A place where Goode's clients' can entertain. Woodwork was built by Topia Enterprises and occupies the westside of the 2nd floor of this home. The agate stone is lit upwith LED grid panels. Barware and collectables are pro-vided by BG Gear co. and are incorporated in the upperglass front cabinets. This large space encompasses a pokergame table, arcade games by Player One Amusement andA cantilevered pool table built by Billiard's by Brant. Whatmore can one ask for?

The outdoor patio is the ultimate space for Goode's client'sto relax. The seating area is a perfect spot for gatheringaround with family/friends or for some "Me" time. The

patio furniture is versatile in nature and can be used for in-door or outdoor settings. The pouf collection acts as floatsin the pool or for lounging on the patio deck... This timelesscontemporary design is just what the doctor ordered.

The common theme used throughout the interior was ac-complished by using multiple textures, with warm tonesthat has reflective and shimmering finishes on the walls.The combination of these finishes emitted warmth and anopulent feel within the space that provided the level of lux-ury and sophistication my clients desired. My client's canbe described as genuine , down-to-earth, unpretentious innature with True impeccable taste. True Class Acts!
