Your Annie Armstrong Easter Offerings will be accepted throughout the month of March. Envelopes may be found in the pews. Don’t forget your food pantry donations! Today is Fill the Barrel Sunday. Spring Senior Adult Rally - Tuesday, March 27th at Salem Baptist Church. Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Scholarship Committee Meeting - Tuesday, March 27th at 6:30 PM in the Conference Room. Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) – Thursday, March 29th, at 7:00 PM in the KBC Sanctuary. WakeMed Emergency Department staff is offering free CPR training for anyone that would like to learn, and blood pressure checks on Friday, March 30th in the Family Life Center. Participants will not get CPR certification from this training, and all are welcome to attend. Floating trainings will take place from 2:30-4:00 PM. Please arrive by 3:30 PM at the latest. Contact Christie Hatch with any questions 919-609-0544. Children’s Easter Egg Hunt during Children’s Church on Easter Sunday, April 1st. We need Easter candy, lots and lots of Easter candy - any type! All candy can be left in the Conference Room and is needed by Sunday, March 25th. Thank you! Personnel Committee Meeting - Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, April 5th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Gospel Concert - Potter’s Will will be here Saturday, April 7th at 6:00 PM. A fellowship gathering will follow downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dish to share and invite your friends and neighbors. Backpack Buddies - Thank you KBC family for the ongoing food donations you provide for Backpack Buddies. Currently we are providing meals for 21 children every weekend. A grocery list can be found in the vestibule of the Sanctuary. Please remember no glass. There are food collection bins for Backpack Buddies located on the floor downstairs in the Sanctuary building across from the Fellowship Hall (kitchen side). If you prefer to give a monetary donation, please feel free to mark your envelope for Backpack Buddies and place it in the offering plate. Thank you again for supporting this ministry. Spring Bazaar - It’s time to start asking for donations for our Spring Bazaar. If you have something you would like to donate for the live auction, please let Margaret Humphries know ASAP. We would like to list these items on the flyers we print, which should help bring in more people. Money donations are also acceptable to purchase chickens, and we are considering buying more nice items to include in the live auction. You can mark your envelopes “Spring Bazaar donation.” Consider this above your normal tithes and offerings.
