DESCRIPTION
Protection of homeowners insurance was a huge priority for the original Palmetto Bay council. Citizen’s Property has been an item frequently watchdogged. Homeowner’s insurance rates and availability have held much bigger impact on the value and affordability for Palmetto Bay home. Palmetto Bay sought the support of all neighboring communities on Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties to support the Village’s effort in lobbying the Florida Legislature to remove the arbitrary line under the FWUA legislation.TRANSCRIPT
