We post it on our Facebook chat as well as email it to you (all three levels of my group). It’s loaded with ideas, hobby & business activities, accolades for the Pals as well as tips and resources to help you make the most of being a demonstrator and part of our community.

KITS WHAT YOU CAN & CAN’T DO

Demonstrator-Produced Kits

• If a demonstrator is creating project kits—whether they be card kits or any other project kit–they should be careful to avoid purchasing more merchandise than needed for the kits and causing a stockpile of merchandise.

✓ Kit contents must be consumable; they cannot include stamp sets, full-size ink pads, markers, or any products that, if not sold, could be returned to Stampin’ Up!

✓ Kit contents cannot contain Stampin’ Up! products in their original packaging.

✓ Kit contents, such as card stock or paper, cannot include any pre-stamped Stampin’ Up! images or pre-punched/die-cut shapes.

✓ Read the latest policy release from Tuesday’s updates for more specifics. Important information regarding use of a “pay now” (PayPal, as an example) button.

✓ Contact Demo Support BY EMAIL to review your kit contents for compliance.

• Demonstrators should keep in mind that once they purchase Stampin’ Up! products and create their own packaged kit with those products, they have created their own product in a sense, and the products are no longer Stampin’ Up! products. As a result, demonstrators cannot return those items to Stampin’ Up! for a refund or exchange under any circumstances.

Susan Itell• I joined Stampin’ Up! in May of 2012 to get the kit, the discount, and then bye-bye!!!

• I attended the SU Leadership in the Fall of 2012 because it was opened up to anyone and “caught the bug”.

• I earned the Cruise last year and earned Thailand this year.

• I started my kits about 2 years ago after I left my full time job.

• I totally believe in kits (both my own and Stampin’ Up’s!) but if you are going to create your own kits… it takes a BUNCH OF TIME and you need to clearly know the audience that you are marketing it to.

• When I started, it was very low numbers - I think my 1st month was 4, then it grew to 12ish, then it kept snowballing.

• At the beginning I marketed kits on my blog. Currently I do not as I get a good response from past customers.

• Susan is a Silver Elite and had over $36000 in Sales in the last SU year.

Susan’s Kits• Kits are $45.00 each month.

• Send out a “teaser” Pic Monkey Collage when I am offering a new kit

• If the person already has the stamp set, they can send me a substitution for the value of the stamp set that I am featuring that month.

• The kit contains (3) different cards that feature the stamp set.

• Make a sample of each of the (3) and then supply the “ingredients” for them to make (2) more.

• Email them a PDF and do a video with a private link for each card.

• I have set a limit of 50 kits a month.

• TIP: Keep a running list of people that have purchased kits in the past. They are the ones that I send out to. I have people email me and ask to be put on the list and I do but I do explain that it is a first come basis.
