3. VENUE INFORMATION

Córdoba is a city located near the geographical center of Argentina, in the foothills of

the Sierras Chicas on the Suquía River, about 700 km (435 mi) northwest of Buenos

Aires. It is the capital of Córdoba Province. Córdoba is the second-largest city in

Argentina after the federal capital Buenos Aires.

Winter lasts from late May till early September, and bring average highs of 18

°C (64 °F) and lows of 4 °C (39 °F).

5. REGISTRATION

Provisional: June 28

Definitive: July 28 Participants must have reached the age established at 31 December of the year competition. The UPAG reserves the right to check the passports of all gymnasts.

6. TRANSPORT

Participating delegations must cover their airfare to Cordoba Capital. The

Organizing Committee guarantees shuttle from airport Ingeniero Ambrosio

L.V. Taravella International Airport to the Orfeo Suites Hotel. At the

airport can identify a person to carry a banner with the symbol of the event and

the name of your country. Furthermore the O.C. guarantees internal transport

between the hotel-gym.

7. MEDICAL INSURANCE

The regulations of the PAGU, and the FIG Statutes provide that all participating

Federations are responsible to have insurance coverage against accidents and

diseases to all members of the participating delegations.

Federations must present at registration to the Organizing Committee: a valid

medical insurance for all full members of the delegation, or photocopy of the

policy.

8. MEDICAL ATTENTION

Certified Medical Staff will be available during training and competition

schedule.

9. ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

All delegations and members of the PAG are housed in the "Orfeo suites hotel"

The hotel is adjacent to complex and sports, then the internal transport between

housing, meetings, and competition, training will be held on foot.

Lodging and meals will cost: u$50. – person / day for all official delegations members

10. CLOSING BANQUET

The closing banquet for all members of the delegations will take place on Sunday 2

September.

12. TRAINING AND COMPETITION VENUES

The previous training, the podium and competitions will be held in the GYM Orfeo

Superdomo as scheduled by the organization.

13. FLAG AND NATIONAL ANTHEMS

Each country must submit to the organization at the Meeting of Delegates, the

Flag and National Anthem.

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS RHYTMIC GYMNASTICS





1. RIGHTS OF PARTICIPATION

May compete in official competitions of the Pan American Union of Gymnastics those

gymnasts:

- Belong to a federation affiliated to the Pan American Gymnastics Union.

- have the nationality of the Federation.

- All this according to the Statute of the Pan American Union of Gymnastics

- Comply the requirements of the Regulations of the Pan American Gymnastics Union.

Age of participants:

- Junior 13-15 years old (Born 1997-1998 and 1999) Participants must have reached the age established at 31 December of the year competition. Pan American Gymnastics Union reserves the right to check the passports of all gymnasts.

2. SIZE OF DELEGGATIONS, REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS

Countrys:

Team : Individual 4 (máx) 3 (mín)

Groups 5+1

Coach: 2 max. per country, if they have individually and group,

otherwise maximum 1 coach

Federations:

Judges: 2 (Countries that are members of the

TC/RG must submit 2 judges in addition by

Committee member)

Delegate: 1

Countries participating with 1 or 2 gymnasts only compete in individual and Apparatus

Finals. Participating countries with 1 gymnast may only participate with 1 judge and 1

coach.

Those countries that do not submit a judge must pay a penalty the amount of $

1,000.00 to cover the cost of a guest judge. This situation must be reported in nominal registration to allow time to arrange the participation of guest judges.

3. WORK PLAN AND RULES

Concurs:

Will compite in C I -II y III.

Competition I, II – All Around individual- Teams clasification

The results of this competition determines the ChampionTeam, All Around Individual

Champion, and gymnasts classified by apparatus for CIII (8 per aparatus, 2 maximum

per country).

To obtain the alla aroound champion will take into account all gymnasts provided to

present complete program (4 exercises of the program).

The classification is achieved by the addition of 4 apparatus.

Each team should present 3 exercises per apparatus, totaling 12 series. The team

classification is determined by adding the top 10 notes achieved by gymnasts from each

country, eliminating the two lowest.

C-III – Event finals.

This competition determines the winning gymnasts on each apparatus. Participate top 8

gymnasts (2 per federation maximum) assorted CII for each apparatus. The result of

this competition is determined by scores obtained in this competition.

2 gymnasts are designated reserve for each apparatus, if necessary the participation of

one of them, this reserve gymnast will be presented in order of step of the gymnast

who replaced.





Groups:

General Competition II- Each country will present the two exercises provided by

the junior program: 5 ropes and 5 balls

Finals III- Participate the 8 best teams that classify in the General Competition.

In case of having a lower number of 8 registered, shall be determined by the technical

management of the competition the number of participants in this contest, which will

be reported at the technical meeting.

4. AWARDS AND DIPLOMAS

1º place – gold medal and diploma

2º place – silver medal and diploma

3º place – bronze medal and diploma

4º- 8º places – diploma.

Apparatus Finals / Groups Finals

1º place – gold medal and diploma

2º place – silver medal and diploma

3º place – bronze medal and diploma

4º- 8º places – diploma.

* The awards for team and group, each member including the reserve, along with the

official coaches will receive the award mentioned

5. TECHNICAL METTING / JUDGES MEETINGS

A delegate from each country must be present at the orientation meeting on the same

technical delegates of the Pan American Gymnastics Union will give all the details of

the organization.

In the technical meeting each delegate must deliver Difficulty forms (D1-D2) and

Artistic forms for gymnasts and the group exercise (10 copies of each apparatus and





gymnast, and 10 per group exercise, separated by apparatus and gymnast, all in A4

format). They also must submit the forms of conformation of teams, detailing the

apparatus executed by each gymnast and the order of step in who will compete

gymnasts that make up individual equipment

The judges have the obligation to participate in the meeting of judges and Technical

Meeting.

6. GENERAL TECHNICAL INFO

Draw The official drawings will be held during the Technical Meeting and Technical Congress. Music During the technical orientation meeting, delegations must provide the Organizing Committee a set of CDs with music of every gymnast or group, you must also keep another set for training and reserve. The CD will be returned to the head of the delegation after the last competition of the

gymnasts. It is suggested that delegations bring extra copies in case of damage.

The CD must be clearly written the following information:

- The name of the gymnast

- Design representing the apparatus in question.

- Federation (official country code)

- Duration of the music of the exercise

- Name or composers and the music used.

Music forms must be signed by the head of the delegation.

During training, music CDs for individual gymnasts and/or groups will be reviewed for

its speed, volume and clarity.

Thus appropriate penalties will apply if necessary during the competition.

Each Federation has the responsibility to provide during the Technical Meeting (headquarters of competencies) the order of step of their gymnasts,

Claims

Claims are allowed by the note of DIFFICULTY.

The notes from the Execution and Artistic are final.

Claims must be in writing and must be submitted before the end of the rotation where

the gymnast participated or whose note has been miscalculated in the opinion of the

coach.





Verbal claims will not be allowed and same on notes gymnasts from other federations.

Only accredited coaches at that moment are within the area of competition or the

Head of Delegation may submit claims

Because there will be no official video of the competition, the use of video to the claim

of notes will be limited at the discretion of technical directors. - First Claim - No charge

- Second - u$ 100 - Third - u$ 100

Claims must be submitted using Form Claims official to be presented at the technical

meeting. If the claim is granted, will be refunded the fee paid to the Federation. If it is

rejected the fee will be handed the Pan American Union of Gymnastics.

The decisions of the Technical Directors are final.
