• Yellowing of skin and Eyes• Pain in the abdomen and back• Weight Loss• Tired• Pain in upper abdomen• Darkened urine• Diarrhea• Back Pain
Cause of Pancreatic Cancer
• Cause of this disease is a tumor• The size and location, of the tumor depends
whether or not it is serious
Frequency or rate of Pancreatic Cancer
• 1-5 years Survival rates are 25% and 6%• 80% of people diagnosed with it from 6-
10 months• 30% of people diagnosed with this
disease are men• African Americans are more likely to get
pancreatic cancer
Risk Factors
Some risk factors for getting pancreatic cancer:
• Smoking a lot • Long-term diabetes • Hereditary disorders
How is the disease diagnosed?• If patients has pain in upper abdomen and pain radiates to lower back• The symptoms• Location of the cancer• CT Scan• Computed tomography• Endoscopic needle biopsy• Endoscopic ultrasound
