Low Carb High Fat Diet(Diet Rendah Karbo Tinggi Lemak)
ASAS• Makan – daging, ikan, telur, ayam dan sayur-
sayuran atas tanah dan lemak semulajadi (sptmentega, minyak zaitun, minyak kelapa)
• Elakkan – gula dan makanan berkanji (nasi, roti, pasta, kekacang dan ubi)
• Makan cuma bila lapar , BERHENTI selepas 80% kenyang
• Elakkan makanan yg diproses
• Elakkan ‘snacking’
• Minum air masak dengan banyak
• Tak perlu kira kalori
• Karbo : 50-75 gm sehari , utk 1-2 minggu pertama,
kemudian kurangkan lagi.Diabetis < 30 gm/day. Sayur-sayuran- 4 hidangansehari
• Protein : 4 saiz tapak tangan sehari. (Wanita: 1 saiz
tapak tangan = 20 gm. Lelaki=30 gm)
• Lemak : sumber semulajadi – daging, telur, mentega,
minyak kelapa, minyak zaitun, avocado dsb

• Diabetis/obesiti boleh di-”reverse” dgnpemakanan yg betul. Tidak perlu bersenam
• Kunci: Puasa berkala (intermittent fasting) dandiet rendah karbo, tanpa gula
• Makanan berLemak tidak menggemukkan dantidak meninggikan paras kolesterol, tetapidisebabkan karbo/gula
• Dengan berpuasa dan makanan rendahkarbo/gula, lemak terutama dlm hati (liver) danpankreas “mencair”
