What’s so amazing about Panorama?

For some it’s the adventure. For others it’s the

solace. There’s those who stay here to get away

from it all. And there’s those who visit because

everything’s here.

We hear it all the time, “These mountains are

magical.” We say, “Go ahead, call it magic.”

But behind the magic is our firm belief that

a winter vacation should be a vacation. That a

mountain resort should be a resort. That those

who journey to join us should be treated as

special guests.

Panorama is amazing because we

hold it a high honour to share the

extraordinary experience of pure

Canadian mountain life.

among good people in a (ahem)

magical setting.

There’s certainly no shortage of reasons

to vacation at Panorama Mountain

B R I L L I A N T( The art of looking ahead. )

We’ve delivered incredible Canadian mountain resort

experiences for over half a century. We could boast

about it, but we’re even better at planning and

strategizing to provide pure mountain resort possibilities

and opportunities.

We’ve come a long way since the original warming hut

and rope tow. Today we’re an international destination,

renowned for long descents, incredible hot pools,

jaw-dropping heli-skiing and amazing golf. Our success

is a result of precise, planned strategic development.

We’ve carefully evolved in order to provide mountain

opportunities for those who share in the pursuit

of excellence.

Panorama’s future is poised on a foundation of

great planning and endless possibility. Exciting new

developments are in store. This past year has seen nearly

$10 million invested in an extraordinary new riding area

and chairlift, and a world-class golf clubhouse. Continued

investments and evolving perspectives see us positioned

for continued great success.

Share in our future and share in our mountains. Tomorrow is brilliant.

What does it mean to live in the

mountains?

It means pure living. It means commitment to high

standards. It means a connection to nature and the best

of the wild. It means a community of like minded people,

sharing their love of the mountains. It means owning a

place of refuge, where the mundane is escaped. It means

owning a place of strength, where vitality is rediscovered.

It means owning a place of inspiration where fresh

perspectives give rise to new outlooks. Step into the

woods. Stroll mountaintops. Dance with gravity. Drink

deeply from nature’s best. Let today’s adventures be a

part of tomorrow’s legacy.

We’re one of Canada’s oldest and most established resort

communities. Our village continues to evolve with new

partners, shops and activities. Significant investments

are taking Panorama to a new, unprecedented level

within the industry. The distinguished experiences

of resort skiing, heli-skiing, mountain golf, mountain

biking and other alpine pursuits combine with a spirit of

approachability that make Panorama the perfect first

choice for mountain experiences.

Panorama affords established and distinctive opportunities to own a piece of the mountains, a place to call home and a sound investment for the future.

Here are the important things to know. There’s a giant ski

hill, an intimate village with all the amenities, and Canada’s

largest outdoor slope-side hotpools (it’s a big deal!). We

also offer one of the easiest mountain resort vacations

you’ll ever experience. Simply check-in, park and ride.

It’s that easy. Panorama’s planning ensures guests and

visitors don’t have to drive, and get more time to ride,

even right to their door! There’s also a free gondola that

connects the base area to the village.

At the summit, take in the Rocky

Mountain views, then descend Canada’s

oldest mountains – the spectacular

Purcells. Throw down some tricks in the

terrain park, rip through in-bounds heli

terrain, charge some sweet cruisers, or

learn to turn in the new Discovery zone.

Is it best to soak in the hot pools after skiing? Or after dinner? Or both?

Don’t miss the world’s longest skating trail on Lake

Windermere. It’s a magical winter experience to glide

through the Rocky Mountains on a solid natural sheet

of ice.

Then there’s the essential things, the little details. There’s free access to the hot pools for all resort guests. Anon-mountainmassageandspa, a fitness centre and additional hot tubs at various accommodations.

Maybe the best part is up top, soaking in 360° of mountains forever. Or maybe it’s the knowing nod

on the lift, the one that says “that was one solid run, mate.” Maybe it’s the last-second recovery,

the subconscious discovery and remembrance of balance: the miracle turn. Maybe it’s the railed

edge, precise and steady and surging across the corduroy. Maybe it’s the first-ever linked turn,

the new found freedom, control and confidence of dancing with gravity. Maybe the best part

is removing boots after riding. Maybe it’s wiggling toes in the sheets and drifting into downhill

dreams. Maybe it’s the first plunge in the hot pools. Maybe it’s the steam rising from skin into the

depths of dark winter air. Maybe it’s the meditative meal at the summit. Maybe it’s winding up the

road to vacation. The reassuring moment of ‘we’ve arrived,’ when worries leave and breathing

becomes easier. Maybe it’s the retreat. Maybe it’s the attack. Maybe it’s the hot kiss of frost on

the cheeks. Maybe it’s peaks reflected in the eyes of a child. Maybe it’s the audible silence of new

snow arriving. Maybe it’s the sun’s lingering caress well after it’s set. Perhaps it’s the aprés pint

(probably). Maybe it’s the shared laughter. The whoops and the hollers. Or the inner glow of one

bad-ass throwdown gone right. Maybe it’s the tribal, primal warmth of crackling wood and savoury

smoke. Maybe it’s being part of a story of people who belong in the mountains. Who long for the

mountains. Maybe it’s the diamond shower from trees shedding snow or the angry hiss of tips

through fat flakes. Maybe it’s just the simple connection to something bigger and wilder and purer

that makes us feel alive.

Whatever it is, it’s Pure Canada, it’s here and we’re proud of it.

Thanks for sharing with us.

For every mountain, there’s a valley.

Some of Panorama’s best adventures are

situated where the mountains begin,

at Invermere-on-the-Lake.

Invermere-on-the-Lake is situated in the beautiful

Rocky Mountains and offers a relaxed atmosphere with

trendy, funky boutiques and fine restaurants, cafés,

pubs, galleries, gift and specialty shops, grocery stores,

pharmacies, a bookstore, deli and bakery. Check out

locally made products like Kicking Horse Coffee, craft

Though the course is closed for the winter, the Cliffhanger

is open Thursday to Sunday, throughout the ski season.

Mountains change. That’s why they’re so

inspiring. Winter is one of our top four

favourite seasons up here, but we’ve always

been particularly proud of Panorama in

the summer.

There’s excitement, solace and even more freedom in

the mountains afforded by the fair weather. Panorama’s

summers mean amazing mountain biking, strolls in

thealpine,andadventuresintheColumbiaValleywith

Panorama as a base camp. Summer means superlative

golfing in a spectacular paradise, surrounded by

snowcapped peaks, and by warm summer breezes. Summer

means reconnecting with families and friends in fresh air. It

means watching alpenglow sunsets from hot pools. It means

having a splash with whitewater rafting on Toby Creek.

Summer at Panorama means some of the finest memories

children can have: bouncy castles, water slides, summer

activities and games, campfires and Eurobungy. Summer

is tennis, horseback trail rides, or hiking in the Purcells.

Summer is mountain yoga, fine dining and picnics, with the

essence of Pure Canada in every activity.

Contact us and discover what more to the mountains might mean to you this summer!
