Popular culture is connected with our society and our everyday life

Post colonial theory is an academic discipline featuring methods of intellectual discourse that analyze, explain, and respond to the cultural legacies of colonialism and of imperialism

Post colonialism refers to historical phase undergone by the the third world century

Ex. When Countries in Asia, Latin America and caribbean separated from the European empire and were left to rebuild themselves

• Homi K. Bhabha’s Post colonial theory involves analysis of nationality, ethnicity, and politics with poststructuralist ideas

• Franz Fanon in his book “The Wretched of the Earth” has been an important inspiration for post colonial culture
