    Leaving ISM? 

    If you are leaving ISM at the end of the school year, please

    remember to contact Grace Gabay in the MS Oce. Grace is

    the point person for all transcripts and handles the withdraw-

    al process for the MS students. If you have any quesons,

    she is more than happy to support you! 

    Time o School: 

    Please remember that all requests to take your child out of

    school during scheduled school me need to go through the

    MS Oce. Please include informaon such as the reason forthe request (Sibling’s graduaon, family wedding etc) as well

    as the number of school days your child will miss. ISM tracks

    these requests and there are some logiscal maers, such as

    communicang with teachers, that we try to centralize and

    lter through the oce. We’d be most grateful if parents

    remember to include the MS Oce on all communicaons of

    this nature. 

    PCA Used Book Fair: 

    Do you have some great books sing on your bookshelf gath-

    ering dust? If so, why not donate them to the PCA Used Book

    Fair! 

    Date = April 18th - 22nd 

    Locaon = In the rear of the ES and MS Libraries

    (High ceilinged secon by the pool) 

    Details: 

    On Mon and Tues the Book Fair is open to par-

    ents and students. However, due to the fact

    that the ES classes have a set schedule to aend

    the Book Fair during these days, parents cannot

    purchase ES books on these days.  

    On Wed, Thurs and Fri the Book fair is open to

    all members of the ISM Community. 

    Please note that the nal date for donang

    books is Thursday, April 14th. Books can be

    dropped o at the PCA oce, MS Oce or in

    the various donaon boxes around school. 

    PCA Elecons: 

    Looking to get more involved at school? The PCA has

    openings at both the leadership and grade levels for next

    school year. The Execuve Commiee openings include

    vice president, assistant treasurer, coordinang secre-

    tary, recording secretary, MS ocer and ES ocer. 

    At the grade level two parent reps are needed per grade.

    Middle school has one opening in each of the following

    grades: grades 5, 6 and 8. 

    The PCA is a great way to make friends with other parents

    and get to know teachers and administraon beer. If inter-

     Best wishes to all our HS IASAS athletes who are com-

    peng right now at the S3 Championships at TAS for T&F,

    JIS for Golf, ISB for Soball and SAS for Badminton. To

    keep in touch will all the results and live streams goto www.iasas.asia from Thurs-Sat April 7-9. 

    Of special note this will be the 33rd and very last IASAS

    slow pitch soball tournament played at ISB as next year

    boys will play baseball and girls will play fast pitch so-

    ball. The IASAS board conrmed the change of sports at

    last April's board meeng. This will be an excing change

    and challenge for all IASAS schools to implement both

    these sports into the athlec programs. 

    ISM summer camps informaon/yer is now posted to

    ATAC blog. Summer camps are oered the rst 3 weeksof the summer vacaon. Please note due to the large

    amount of facility construcon planned for this summer

    camps will only be oered in the mornings and all ses-

    sions will end by 12 noon or before.  hp://atac.ism-

    S4 pracce schedule is now posted on noce boards and

    on ATAC blog schedules page this week. S4 pracces are

    open to all Gr 8-11 student athletes. Current Gr 8's who

    will be freshmen next SY are encouraged to come out as

    it is a great opportunity to meet the coaches and other

    HS athletes while geng in some pre season pracce inreadiness for next SY. ATAC S3 sports for MS/HS have

    now concluded.

    Girls- Soccer/Volleyball/Basketball/Touch 

    Boys- Soccer/Volleyball/Faculty/Student Basketball

    Please note the pracce mes for ATAC programs for SY

    15-16 are as follows: ATAC all year round teams- 3:15-

    4:30. See schedule for our All year round

    teams program here... 

    All HS seasonal teams pracce from 3:05- 4:50pm each

    day. MS seasonal teams pracce 3:15-4:45pm. In order to

    clear the campus prior to 5pm all aer school programs

    will conclude by 4:50pm or earlier. The last bus

    is4:55pm  this is due to the ever increasing trac con-

    cerns in our area.

    the ATAC blog it has a wide variety of informaon and

    links to our sports and acvies program. If you have any

    quesons regarding the compeve program of sports at

    ISM aer reading the informaon on the blog pleasesend an email to [email protected] and I will endeav-

    The ATAC game schedule pdf which is updated regularly

    by Triz Gonzalez (ATAC Athlecs Coordinator) gives the

    most up to date informaon on where/when and who

    our Bearcat teams will be playing throughout the school

    year. Access to the game schedule is now via the ISM par-

    ent portal not via power school as in the past. A naviga-

    on guide is available here. ATAC Game Schedule Users

    Guide. 

    Access the parent portal via this link, log in with your user

    name/password and then look for the ATAC Game Sched-

    ule tab under the le side quick links. Don't forget to re-

    fresh the pdf page each me it opens so you access the

    most current schedule. Please note this schedule does

    change oen and at short noce due to involvement with

    many local schools and organizaons. 

    Check it regularly for the most up to date informaon.

    For security purposes....access to the ATAC  game sched-

    ule pdf must be linked via the secure parent portal and

    details should not be shared with non ISM communitymembers.

    season for F2 Logiscs Cargo Movers Team. It will

    be great for the girls to see Volleyball played not

    only at a professional level, but also to see their

    Coach in acon. The game is also available live on

    TV.

    17! 

    Starng SY2016-2017 ISM will implement a full debit system in the MS/HS Canteen. The debit system

    provides customers with a cashless payment system once the customer's ID has been loaded with funds. 

    Parents and Students are encouraged to start using the debit system if they

    aren't already doing so.

    Important informaon on Re-Enrollment for SY 2016-17

    Dear Parents:

    We will begin On-line Re

    -Enrollment for school year 2016

    -17 on Monday, April 4. As before, parents will have to log into

    PowerSchool in order to do this. Below are instrucons to help. If you are not sure of your PowerSchool log-in or need sup-

    port, please contact the Middle School Oce.

    Please note that you must complete re-enrollment Steps 1 & 2 by 4pm on Friday, May 27 at the latest. PowerSchool will close

    on that date unl the start of SY16-17. We have over 500 students on our waitlist, and we will assume that your children are

    leaving if you have not completed the re-enrollment process.

    If your child/ren will not be returning for SY16-17, you MUST follow the Withdrawal Procedure and submit a Withdrawal No-

    caon Form on or before Friday, May 13. Click here for more informaon.

    Online Re-Enrollment

    Step 1: Visit www.ismanila.org and click on Parent Portal under the Quick Links drop -down menu. Log-in to the Parent Portal

    and click on PowerSchool. Please refer to the aached guide on “How to Access Online Re-Enrollment.”

    Step 2: Look for the Re-Enrollment Clearance icon on the le hand panel. Click on the icon. Create your Re-enrollment Clear-

    ance Form and click submit aer updang. You will receive an email nocaon verifying that you have been successful up-

    dang your child’s record.

    Step 3: Submit Forms (if applicable)

    Students entering Grade 6 will be required to download and complete the Standard Physical Examinaon Form

    (with ECG) which should be submied to the ISM Health Clinic as soon as possible.

    Students entering Grade 7 will be required to download and sign the ISM Drug Policy Form which should be sub-

    mied to the MS Oce as soon as possible.

    Step 4 You must sele all charges for SY15-16 which may include incidental fees not covered by company sponsorship (ATAC

    uniforms, instrument rental, payment for lost textbook, etc.).

    Step 5: You must pay the rst quota of tuion fees for SY16-17 to receive your FINAL CLEARANCE NOTIFICATION for your

    child to aend class on August 4, 2016.

    Tuion and Fees: Please sele your accounts through our Cashier’s Oce.

    Successful compleon of required steps will generate a NO REPLY email conrmaon. Compleon of all steps is necessary in

    order to receive your FINAL CLEARANCE NOTIFICATION.
