    Parents learn holding positions and when touse them; the importance of cues and how

    to use them and roles for helping their child

    learn and practice skills for all ages. Water

    safety is taught and emphasized.

    This class is designed for toddlers 18 monthsto 3 years old with no swim experience.

    practice skills for all ages. Toddlers explore the

    water, practice water adjustment skills, kicks,

    blowing bubbles, and safety around the pool.

    This class is designed for 2, 3 and 4 year oldswith some swim experience who are not quite

    ready for that jump into Level 1 swim lessons.

    Please note the different classes for

    infants, toddlers, and children who still

    need some assistance in the water.

    Infants and toddlers who are not potty

    trained MUST wear approved swim

    diapers with an elastic band around the

    legs and waist at all times when in or

    around the pool.

    NOTE: Due to new safety standardsacross the country and a recommenda-

    tion from the CDC we are no longer

    permitting arm wings or swimmies at

    the Parkside Community Center.
