Las pláticas pre bautismales, en español se lleva-rán a cabo hoy domingo 10 de Enero a las

2:45pm en el salón parroquial. Si no se registro todavía puede participar.

REFLEXIÓN DE CORRESPONSABILIDAD Hoy celebramos el Bautismo del Señor. La pastoral de mayordomía de los obispos de USA. Nos recuer-da que el bautismo les da a todos sus discípulos una participación en su obra sacerdotal y los llama a "ofrecer el mundo y todo lo que hay en él, especial-mente a ellos mismos, al Señor de todos".

El mes de Enero es cuando nuestra parroquia ayuda a repartir las despensas en Panes y Peces. Esto es solo un día a la sema-na, los Jueves de 10 am -3 pm. Si le gustaria donar su tiempo puede comunicarse con Toney Hernandez, Linda Sandoval o Holly Feezor.

Nos gustaría expresar nuestro

agradecimiento a aquellos que gener-osamente compartieron su tiempo y

talento en nuestra preparación y celebración navideña. Por ayudar con las decoraciones, por aquellos que generosamente donaron para la com-pra de las flores de Noches Buenas. También nos gustaría agradecer a todos los que ministraron en nuestra iglesia; por dar su cariño, especialmente a los coros, organista, pianista, guitarrista, lectores, ujieres, el proyecto de despensas y regalos para las familiares necesitadas, a los que nos ayudaron con la transmisión en vivo de la Misa y quienes nos ayudan a desinfectar la iglesia.

Después del Bautismo del Señor (10 enero), concluimos con la celebración de la

Navidad. Por lo tal, solicitamos su ayuda para quitar las decoraciones de la iglesia.

January is the month that our church, Mary, Queen of Peace, helps to serve Loaves & Fishes. If you can volunteer on Thursdays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm please call Toney Hernandez, Linda Sandoval or Holly Feezor.

KANSAS ROSARY CRUSADE All Kansas Diocese have been asked by our State's Bishops, including Bishop Brungardt, to join the Kan-sas Rosary Crusade. Each Thursday, we are asked to pray the Rosary for the passage of pro-life legislation here in Kansas. Thursday is the day when we normal-ly pray the Luminous Mysteries, however the Kansas Rosary Crusade offers the "Mysteries of Life in the Womb" for your Thursday Rosary. You can log on to: https://kansasrosarycrusade.org/ to get all of the information. It was decided to move our Sunday Rosary Devotion (via Zoom Meeting) to Thursday's at 8pm in order to participate in this crusade. As usual, you will receive a Zoom Meeting invitation sometime on Thursday and participants can click on the meeting link to join at 8:00 pm. If you have any questions or problems sign-ing on, please don't hesitate to contact Tom or Lisa Ridder at 620-874-0447 or 620-874-8599. Everyone is encouraged to register your individual name or family name and commit to this devotion even if you can't join on Thursdays via Zoom Meet-ing.

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION Today we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord. The US bishop’ pastoral on stewardship reminds us that Baptism gives all of His disciples a share in His priestly work and calls them “to offer up the world and all that is in it – especially themselves – to the Lord of all.”

Support for Catholic Schools, Inc.: For the last two years the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City has been partnering with the Catholic Diocese of Wichita to provide scholar-ships to eligible students attending Catholic Schools within our diocese. To date we have several students attending

Catholic schools in Dodge City, Ness City, and Garden City with scholarships amounting to over $300,000.

Funding for this program so far has been from generous stewards from the Wichita diocese. If our Catholic schools are important to you, I am asking you to please consider a gift to the Support for Catholic Schools, Inc. By donating you are eligible to receive a 70% Kansas income tax credit that can be applied to your Kansas state income tax liability.

with the decorations, for those who generosity do-nated towards the purchase of a poinsettia. We would also like to thank everyone that ministered at our church; for giving their love, especially for the choirs, organist, pianist, guitarist, lectors, ushers, Christmas Family gifts and food project, helped with live streaming the Mass and those who help us to disinfect the church.

After the Baptism of the Lord (Jan 10), we conclude the celebration of Christmas. So, it is time to remove the decorations from the church and we are needing your help. Please come and helps us!! TODAY AT 2:00 PM
