A MUST SEE….
The Mission of Sts. Peter & Paul at Waimea Bay has a new
look….the outside has been freshly painted and soon there will be
an office with a thrift shop….all done from the huli huli chicken
fundraising sale held recently. Thank you to Christy and Steve Paty
for coordinating this project.
As some of you may not know, there is a grotto with the statue of
the Blessed Virgin Mary located on the hillside behind the
church. Follow the path to the area surrounded by plants and flowers
and visit the grotto where you can also meditate and pray.
********************
St. Michael Church also has a place of meditation located between
the church and the office. The Blessed Virgin Mary statue stands there
among the garden of roses and there is a bench where you may sit to
pray and meditate.

Gracious and Loving God
We give you thanks for this time of year;
a time of transformation that reveals the awe-inspiring
gift of your creation.
Teach us how to be good stewards
of all the gifts you have given us; and show us how
we may share those gifts generously, especially with those
most in need of your loving care.
Give us the strength to be good stewards
of the Gospel, to love others as we
love ourselves, and to follow in your Son’s
footsteps, until we find our way home to you.
We pray this through your Son, Jesus Christ,
Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen
