Jordan - Mount Nebo

•It is the place wherefrom Moses saw he Holy Land. Rising over 700m

above the Jordan Valley, Mount Nebo offers spectacular views of thePromised Land, as seen by Moses.

•It is also called : Mount Piscah

•It is believed that Moses’ body was buried here.

•It is doubtful whether the body of Moses was buried here, in view of thestatement made in Epistle Judha V.9, wherein we observe that there wasan argument between Angel Gabriel and Satan, over the body of Moses. Itis possible God would have taken Moses to heaven, along with his body.

•Also remember the appearance of Moses along with Elisa, who went aliveto heaven in the Chariot of Fire to heaven, on the mount ofTransfiguration (Matt.17:1-5).

The Pilgrimage Team arrived at Thoothukudi around11.30 am on 10th February, 2012, at Patrick Church

where it began on 30th

January, 2012. The Patrick Church Members welcomed the teamand honoured them. All the members thanked the Lord for providing such anopportunity in their lives. All the members departed home happily after the

prayer at Patrick Church
