IBRAHIM AL-NAKHAIE ACCEPTS THE IMAMSasws

: فقال. ، ففعلت)ضمني إليك: (لما حضرت إبراهيم النخعي الوفاة قال لي: وفي آتاب سليم عن األعمش عن خيثمة، قالعليه وآله رسول اهللا، وأن علي بن أبي طالب أشهد أن ال إله إال اهللا وحده ال شريك له، وأشهد أن محمدا صلى اهللا (

صلوات اهللا عليه وصي محمد، وأن الحسن وصي علي، وأن الحسين وصي الحسن، وأن علي بن الحسين وصي ). الحسين

And in the Book of Sulaym, from Al-Amsh, from Khaysama who said, ‘When death presented itself to Ibrahim Al-Nakhaie, he said to me, ‘Get me to be closer to you’, so I did that. He said, ‘I testify that there is no God except Allahazwj, One with no associate to Himazwj, and I testify that Muhammadsaww is the Messengersaww of Allahazwj, and that Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws is the successorasws of Muhammadsaww, and that Al-Hassanasws is the successorasws of Aliasws, and that Al-Husaynasws is the successorasws of Al-Hassanasws, and that Aliasws Bin Al-Husaynasws is the successorasws of Al-Husaynasws’.

على هذا أحيي وعليه أموت، : (فقال. ال: سمعني غيرك؟ فقلت: هي هي ثم أفاق فقال: ثم أغمي عليه فسقط، فقلت: قال). وعليه آان علقمة واألسود، ومن لم يكن على هذا فليس على شيئ

(Khaysama) said, ‘He lost consciousness, so he became quiet’. I said, ‘This is it, this is it’. Then he woke up. He said, ‘Did anyone hear me apart from you?’ I said, ‘No’. He said, ‘Upon this is what I live, and this is what I am dying on. And to it were Alqama and Al-Aswad, and that the one who is not upon this, so he is not upon anything’.

وصية أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم في الساعات األخيرة) 69(

WILL OF AMIR-UL-MOMINEENasws DURING THE END (OF HISasws) TIME

شهدت وصية علي بن أبي طالب صلوات اهللا عليه حين أوصى إلى ابنه الحسن عليه السالم، : سليم بن قيس الهاللي قال. ومحمدا وجميع ولده وأهل بيته ورؤساء شيعتهوأشهد على وصيته الحسين عليه السالم

Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly said, ‘I witnessed the will of Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws when heasws bequeathed to hisasws son Al-Hassanasws, and hisasws will was witnessed by Al-Husaynasws, and Muhammad, and all of hisasws sons and the People of hisasws Household, and the leaders of hisasws Shiites.

يا بني، أمرني رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله أن أوصي إليك وأدفع آتبي : ثم دفع عليه السالم الكتب والسالح إليه، ثم قالإليك، آما أوصى إلي رسول اهللا ودفع آتبه وسالحه إلي، وأمرني أن آمرك إذا حضرك الموت أن تدفعها إلى وسالحي

The text of the Imamsasws and the submission and handing over of the Imamate

Then heasws (Aliasws) handed over the Book and the Weapons to himasws (Al-Hassanasws), then said: ‘O myasws sonasws, the Messenger of Allahsaww ordered measws that Iasws should bequeath to youasws and hand over myasws Book and myasws weapons to youasws, just as the Messenger of Allahsaww bequeathed to measws hissaww Book and hissaww weapons to measws, and ordered measws that Iasws should order youasws, when death presents itself, that youasws should hand these over to yourasws brother Al-Husaynasws.

وأخذ بيد ابن ابنه علي بن -) وأمرك رسول اهللا أن تدفعها إلى ابنك هذا: (ثم أقبل على الحسين عليه السالم فقال لهوأمرك رسول اهللا أن تدفعها إلى ابنك محمد، فاقرأه من رسول اهللا : ( فضمه إليه وقال له-الحسين عليه السالم وهو صغير

Then heasws turned towards Al-Husaynasws, so heasws said to himasws: ‘And the Messenger of Allahsaww ordered youasws to hand these over to this sonasws of yoursasws’ – and grabbed the hand of the sonasws of hisasws sonasws Aliasws Bin Al-Husaynasws, and heasws was little – so heasws held him close to himselfasws and said to himasws: ‘And the Messenger of Allahsaww ordered youasws to hand these over to yourasws sonasws Muhammadasws, so convey to himasws greetings from the Messenger of Allahsaww and from measws’.

يا بني، أنت ولي األمر وولي الدم بعدي، فإن عفوت فلك، وإن قتلت فضربة : ثم أقبل على ابنه الحسن عليه السالم فقال: أآتب: ثم قال. مكان ضربة وال تمثل

Then heasws turned towards Al-Hassanasws, so heasws said: ‘O myasws sonasws, youasws are the Master of the Command (Wali Al-Amr) and the Master of myasws blood after


measws. So, if youasws were to forgive, it is up to youasws, and if youasws were to kill, so strike by one strike and do not repeat it’. Then heasws said: Write!’

نص وصية أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم

أوصى أنه يشهد أن ال إله إال اهللا وحده ال شريك له، وأن : هللا الرحمن الرحيم هذا ما أوصى به علي بن أبي طالببسم ا.محمدا عبده ورسوله، أرسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين آله ولو آره المشرآون

Text of the will of Amir-ul-Momineenasws

In the Name of Allahazwj the Beneficent, the Merciful. This is what Aliasws Bin Abu Talib is bequeathing – Iasws am bequeathing that, heasws hereby testifies that there is no god but Allahazwj, the One without any associates to Himazwj, and that Muhammad is Hisazwj servant, and Hisazwj Messenger with the Guidance and the True Religion which Heazwj will Make to prevail over all the Religions, even though the Polytheists may averse to it.

. ثم إن صالتي ونسكي ومحياي ومماتي هللا رب العالمين، ال شريك له وبذلك أمرت وأنا من المسلمين

Then, myasws Prayer, and myasws sacrifice, and myasws life, and myasws passing away is for Allahazwj, the Lordazwj of the Universe. There is no partner to Himazwj, and it is by that that Iasws order you for, and Iasws am from the Muslims.

ثم إني أوصيك يا حسن وجميع ولدي وأهل بيتي ومن بلغه آتابي من المؤمنين بتقوى اهللا ربكم، فال تموتن إال وأنتم صالح ذات البين : ( وآله يقولواعتصموا بحبل اهللا جميعا وال تفرقوا، فإني سمعت رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه. مسلمون

. ، وال قوة إال باهللا)أفضل من عامة الصالة والصوم، وإن البغضة حالقة الدين وفساد ذات البين

Then, Iasws bequeath to youasws, O Hassanasws and all of myasws children, and the People of myasws Household, and the ones to whom myasws writing reaches from the Believers, to fear Allahazwj, your Lordazwj, so do not die except as Muslims. And hold on to the Rope of Allahazwj and do not separate, for Iasws heard the Messenger of Allahsaww saying: ‘Reconciliation between yourselves is preferable than general Prayers and the Fasting, and that the hatred destroys the Religion, and (leads to) mischief between yourselves. There is no Strength except by Allahazwj.

واهللا اهللا في األيتام فال تغيروا أفواههم وال تضيعوا من . انظروا ذوي أرحامكم فصلوهم يهون اهللا عليكم الحسابمن عال يتيما حتى يستغني أوجب اهللا له بذلك الجنة آما : (بحضرتكم، فقد سمعت رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله يقول

).أوجب آلآل مال اليتيم النار

Look after your ties of kinship (relatives), so be considerate with them, Allahazwj will Make the Reckoning to be easier for you. By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the orphans, so do not alter their mouths (livelihood) and do not waste (their wealth) which is in your custody, for Iasws have heard the Messenger of Allahsaww say: ‘The one who looks after the orphan until he becomes self-sufficient, Allahazwj Obligates the Paradise for him due to that, just as Heazwj Obligates the Fire for the one who consumes the wealth of the orphan’.

.واهللا اهللا في القرآن، ال يسبقكم إلى العمل به غيرآم


By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the Quran. Do not give precedence to other actions over the actions by it.

.واهللا اهللا في جيرانكم، فإن رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله أوصى بهم

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding your neighbours, for the Messenger of Allahsaww has bequeathed about them.

وإن أدنى ما يرجع به من أمه أن يغفر له ما قد . واهللا اهللا في بيت ربكم، فال يخلون منكم ما بقيتم فإنه إن يترك لم تناظروا. سلف

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the House of your Lordazwj. So do not let it be empty from yourselves for as long as you remain, for if you leave it (empty) you will not be Looked at (Considered). And that the lowest reward he gets is that his previous sins are forgiven as just being born (sinless).

.واهللا اهللا في الصالة، فإنها خير العمل وإنها عمود دينكم

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the Prayers, for it is the best of the deeds and is a Pillar of your Religion.

. واهللا اهللا في الزآاة، فإنها تطفئ غضب ربكم

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the Zakaat, for it extinguishes the Wrath of your Lordazwj.

. واهللا اهللا في شهر رمضان، فإن صيامه جنة من النار

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the Month of Ramadhan, for its Fasts are a shield against the Fire.

. فشارآوهم في معيشتكمواهللا اهللا في الفقراء والمساآين،

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the poor and the needy, so include them in your livelihood.

. إمام هدى، ومطيع له مقتد بهداه: واهللا اهللا في الجهاد في سبيل اهللا بأموالكم وأنفسكم، فإنما يجاهد في سبيل اهللا رجالن

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the struggle (Jihaad) in the Way of Allahazwj by your wealth and your selves, for only two men will struggle in the Way of Allahazwj – An Imamasws of guidance, and the one obedient to himasws in following hisasws guidance.

. اهللا في ذرية نبيكم، فال يظلمن بين أظهرآم وأنتم تقدرون على الدفع عنهمواهللا

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the descendants of your Prophetsaww, so do not let them be oppressed in your presence whilst you have the ability to defend them.

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj regarding the companions of your Prophetsaww who did not innovate new things and did not harbour innovators, for the Messenger of Allahsaww has bequeathed about them and cursed the innovators from among them (companions) and from others who harbour the innovators.

وال . وقولوا للناس حسنا آما أمرآم اهللاواهللا اهللا في النساء وما ملكت أيمانكم، ال تخافن في اهللا لومة الئم فيكفيكهم اهللا . تترآن األمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر فيولي اهللا األمر أشرارآم وتدعون فال يستجاب لكم

By Allahazwj, (fear) Allahazwj and what your right hands possess. Do not fear regarding Allahazwj the accusation of the accusers, for Allahazwj will Suffice for you, and say good things to the people, as Allahazwj has Ordered you to.

وتعاونوا على البر والتقوى وال . عليكم يا بني بالتواصل والتباذل والتبار، وإياآم والنفاق والتقاطع والتدابر والتفرقأستودعكم . حفظكم اهللا من أهل بيت وحفظ فيكم نبيكم. اهللا شديد العقابتعاونوا على اإلثم والعدوان واتقوا اهللا إن

. اهللا وأقرء عليكم السالم

It is for you, of myasws sons, to intermingle, and spend on each other, and be good to each other, and beware of the hypocrisy, and the cutting off (relationships), and the disagreements and the divisions. And help each other on the righteousness and the piety and do not help each other on the sins and the transgression, and fear Allahazwj, for Allahazwj is Severe in the Punishment. Allahazwj is your Protector, Peopleasws of the Household, and your Prophetsaww is the protector among you. Iasws entrust you all to Allahazwj and convey to you all, the greetings.

حتى قبض عليه السالم في أول ليلة من العشر األواخر من شهر رمضان ليلة إحدى ) ال إله إال اهللا(ثم لم يزل يقول .وعشرين، ليلة الجمعة، سنة أربعين من الهجرة

Then heasws did not cease saying ‘There is no God but Allahazwj’, until heasws passed away in the first night from the last ten days of the Month of Ramadhan, on the night of the twenty first, night (before) Friday (i.e. Thursday), in the fortieth year from the Hijra.


HADITH 70

أقل ما يجب على المؤمن لحفظ عقيدته) 70(

THE LOWEST OF WHAT IS NECESSARY FOR THE BELIEVER TO PRESERVE HIS FAITH

يا أمير المؤمنين، ما األمر الالزم الذي ال بد منه واألمر : قلت لعلي بن أبي طالب عليه السالم: وعن سليم بن قيس، قالمن شهد أن ال إله إال اهللا وحده ال شريك له، وأن محمدا : الذي إذا أخذت به وسعني الشك فيما سواه؟ فقال عليه السالم

سوله، وأقر بما أنزل اهللا وإقام الصالة وإيتاء الزآاة وصيام شهر رمضان وحج البيت والوالية لنا أهل البيت عبده ور.والبراءة من عدونا واجتنب آل مسكر

And from Sulaym Bin Qays, who said, ‘I said to Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws, ‘O Amir-ul-Momineenasws, what is that necessary matter which if I were to take to it, it would give me the leeway for the doubt in other matters?’ Heasws said: ‘The one who testifies that there is no god but Allahazwj, the One without any associate for Himazwj, and that Muhammad is Hisazwj Messengersaww, and accepts what Allahazwj has Sent down, established the Prayer, and gives the Zakaat, and Fasts in the Month of Ramadhan, and performs the Pilgrimage (Hajj) of the House, and the Wilayah for usasws the Peopleasws of the Household, and keeps away from ourasws enemies and avoids every intoxicant.

Al-Wilayah and the Disavowing (Al-Bara’at) in its entirety and its detail

I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws, is the acceptance of whatever that has come from youasws, in its totality or partly?’ Heasws said: ‘No, but totally’. I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws, so what is the intoxicant?’ Heasws said: ‘Every drink, if a lot of it intoxicates its drinker, so a part of it, but even a drop of it is Prohibited’.

الوالية والبراءة إجماال وتفصيال

: جعلت فداك، فما المسكر؟ قال: قلت. ال، بل جملة: جعلت فداك، اإلقرار بما جاء من عندآم جملة أو مفسرا؟ قال: قلت.آل شراب إذا أآثر منه صاحبه سكر، فالجرعة منه بل القطرة حرام

I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws, from what I have said, youasws have corrected it apart from Al-Wilayah, is it generally for the whole of the Clan of Hashimas or especially for yourasws understanding ones and the knowledgeable onesasws?

ع بني هاشم أو خاصة لفقهائكم وعلمائكم؟ جعلت فداك، ليس شيئ مما قلت إال وقد صح غير الوالية، أعامة لجمي: قلت. فافهم- يا أخا بني هالل -لقد سألت : البراءة من عدوآم، من عادى جميعكم أو من عادى رجال منكم؟ فقال عليه السالم فإن عرفك اهللا األئمة منا األوصياء. إذا أتيت بواليتنا أهل البيت في الجملة وبرئت من أعدائنا في الجملة فقد أجزأك

العلماء الفقهاء، فعرفتهم وأقررت لهم بالطاعة وأطعتهم فأنت مؤمن باهللا وأنت من أهل الجنة، فهم الذين يدخلون الجنة . بغير حساب

The disavowing from yourasws enemies, the ones who are inimical to all of you, or the one who is inimical to the men from among you?’ Heasws said: ‘You have asked – O brother of Clan of Hilal-– so understand. If you were to come with ourasws Wilayah the Peopleasws of the Household in its entirety, and disavow (keep away) from ourasws enemies in entirety (all of them) it would be sufficient for you. If Allahazwj makes you


to recognise the Imamsasws from usasws, the successorsasws, the knowledgeable onesasws, the understanding onesasws, and you have recognised themasws and accepted themasws for the obedience, and obey themasws, so you will be a Believer with Allahazwj, and you will be from the inhabitants of the Paradise, for theyasws are the ones who will enter the Paradise without Reckoning’.

عوا عليه أن مما قد أجم-وإن وحدت اهللا وشهدت أن محمدا رسول اهللا وأخذت بما ليس بين جميع أهل القبلة فيه اختالف وأشكل عليك موضع األمامة والوصية والعلم والفقه، فرددت علمه إلى اهللا ولم تعادهم ولم تبرء -اهللا قد أمر به ونهى عنه

هللا فيك المشية، إن عذبك . منهم ولم تنصب لهم العداوة، فأنت جاهل بما جهلت ضال عما اهتدى إليه أهل الفضل والوالية. برحمتهفبذنبك وإن تجاوز عنك ف

Anf if you (believe in) the Oneness of Allahazwj, and testify that Muhammadsaww is Hisazwj Messengersaww, and take to that in which there is no differing among the people of the Qiblah (Muslims) – from what has been gathered to them of what Allahazwj has Ordered for and Prohibited from – and it is difficult for you the subject of the Imamate, and the succession, and the knowledge, and the jurisprudence, so refer its knowledge to Allahazwj, and you are not be inimical to them, and do not keep away from them, and do not establish enmity towards them, for you are ignorant of what the people of Grace and the Wilayah have been guided to. It is up to Allahazwj to do with you what Heazwj so Desires. If Heazwj Punishes you, so it would be due to your sins, and if Heazwj Exaggerates (your good deeds) so it would be due to Hisazwj Mercy.

.والعارفون بحقنا المؤمنون بنا مؤمنون مسلمون أولياء اهللا. وأما الناصب لنا والمعادي لنا فمشرك آافر عدو هللا

And as for the ones who hate usasws (Nasibis) and are hostile to usasws, so they are ‘Mushrik’ Polytheists, ‘Kafir’ Infidels, enemies of Allahazwj. And the ones who have recognised ourasws rights, are ourasws ‘Momins’ (Believers) and the Believers are the Muslims and the friends of Allahazwj’.

حدثنا سعد بن عبد اهللا وعبد اهللا بن : حدثنا أبي ومحمد بن الحسن رضي اهللا عنهما، قاال: الصدوق في آمال الدين قالويعقوب بن يزيد وإبراهيم بن هاشم جميعا عن حماد بن عيسى عن عمر بن جعفر الحميري جميعا عن محمد بن عيسى

أنه سمع من سلمان ومن أبي ذر ومن المقداد رحمة اهللا عليهم : أذينة عن أبان بن أبي عياش عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي).من مات وليس له إمام مات ميتة جاهلية: (حديثا عن رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله أنه قال

Al-Sadouq, in Kamaal Al-Deen, said, ‘Narrated to us my father and Muhammad Bin Al-Hassan, may Allahazwj be pleased with them both, said, ‘Narrated to us Sa’ad Biin Abdullah and Abdullah Bin Ja’far Al-Humeyri altogether from Muhammad Bin Isa and Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, and Ibrahim Bin Hashim altogether, from Hamaad Bin Isa, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qys Al-Hilaly who heard it from Salmanar, and from Abu Dharrasws, and from Al-Miqdadar, who has narrated the following:

The Messenger of Allahsaww said: ‘The one who died and there was no Imamasws for him, died the death of ‘Jahiliya’ (Pre-Islamic period i.e. an infidel)’.

صدقوا وبروا، قد شهدنا ذلك وسمعناه من رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله، وإن : ثم عرضه على جابر وابن عباس فقاال، من هذا اإلمام يا رسول اهللا؟)من مات وليس له إمام مات ميتة جاهلية: (يا رسول اهللا، إنك قلت: قالسلمان

Then he (Sulaym) presented it to Jabir and Ibn Abbas, so they said, ‘Theyar spoke the truth and reported correctly, for we are witnesses to that and heard from the Messenger of Allahsaww, and that Salmanar said, ‘O Messenger of Allahsaww, yousaww said that, ‘The one who died and there was no Imamasws for him, died the death of ‘Jahiliya’ (Pre-Islamic period i.e. an infidel)’, who is this Imamasws, O Messenger of Allahsaww?’

فإن جهله . فمن مات من أمتي وليس له إمام يعرفه مات ميتة جاهلية. من أوصيائي يا سلمان: قال صلى اهللا عليه وآله. وعاداه فهو مشرك، وإن جهله ولم يعاده ولم يوال له عدوا فهو جاهل وليس بمشرك

Hesaww said: ‘The oneasws who is mysaww successorasws, O Salmanar. So the one from mysaww community who died without having recognised an Imamasws, died the death of ‘Jahiliya’ (as an infidel). If he was ignorant of himasws and was inimical to himasws, so he is a ‘Mushrik’ Polytheist, and he was ‘Jahil’1 of himasws but was not inimical to himasws, and did not befriend hisasws enemies, so he is a ‘Jahil’ one and not a ‘Mushrik’ Polytheist’.

حدثني عمر بن أذينة عن أبان بن أبي عياش : إبراهيم بن عمر اليماني عن حماد بن عيسى المعروف بغريق الجحفة، قالرأيت السيد محمدا صلى اهللا عليه وآله وقد : فاري، قالسمعت أبا ذر جندب بن جنادة الغ: عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي قال

إذا آان غدا اقصد إلى جبال البقيع وقف على نشزمن األرض، فإذا بزغت : قال ألمير المؤمنين عليه السالم ذات ليلة. الشمس فسلم عليها، فإن اهللا تعالى قد أمرها أن تجيبك بما فيك

Al-Husayn Bin Abdul Wahaab in Uyoon Al-Mo’jizaat, said, ‘Narrated to me Ibn Ayyash Al-Jowhary, from Abu Talib Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Anbary, from Abu Al-Husayn Muhammad Bin Zayd Al-Tastary, from Abu Sameena Muhammad Bin Ali Al-Sayrafi, from Ibrahim Bin Umar Al-Yamani, from Hamaad Bin Isa well known as ‘Gareek Al-Johfa’, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly who said:

‘I heard Abu Dharr Jundab Al-Janaada Al-Ghaffary say, ‘I saw Al-Sayyad Muhammadsaww (Rasool Allahsaww) that hesaww said to Amir-ul-Momineenasws one night: ‘When it is the morning, proceed towards the Baqee Mountains and pause upon the high ground, so when the sun emerges, greet it, for Allahazwj has Ordered it that it should answer youasws with regards to yourselfasws’.

أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم ومعه أبو بكر وعمر وجماعة من المهاجرين واألنصار، حتى وافى فلما آان من الغد خرج السالم عليك يا خلق اهللا الجديد المطيع : (فلما أطلعت الشمس قرنيها قال عليه السالم. البقيع ووقف على نشز من األرض

ل، يا آخر، يا ظاهر، يا باطن، يا من هو بكل شيء وعليك السالم يا أو: (فسمعوا دويا من السماء وجواب قائل يقول). له ). عليم

When it was the morning, Amir-ul-Momineenasws went out, and with himasws were Abu Bakr, and Umar, and a group from the Emigrants and the Helpers, until heasws came to the Baqee and paused upon the high ground. ثم أفاقوا بعد ساعات وقد انصرف أمير المؤمنين . فلما سمع أبو بكر وعمر والمهاجرون واألنصار آالم الشمس صعقواأنت تقول إن عليا بشر مثلنا وقد خاطبته : عليه السالم عن المكان فوافوا رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله مع الجماعة وقالوا

الشمس بما خاطب به الباري نفسه؟

When Abu Bakr, and Umar, and the Emigrants, and the Helpers heard the speech of the sun, they swooned (passed out). Then they came around after a while, and Amir-ul-Momineenasws had left from the place. So they came to the Messenger of Allahsaww along with the group and said, ‘Yousaww said that Aliasws is a human similar to others,


but when heasws addressed the sun, the sun answered to himasws by what the Creatorazwj (Allahazwj) is Himselfazwj addressed by?’

تفسير آالم الشمس مع علي عليه السالم

صدقت، هو أول من : قال) السالم عليك يا أول: (سمعناها تقول: وما سمعتموه منها؟ فقالوا: فقال النبي صلى اهللا عليه وآله.آمن بي

Explanation of the speech of the sun with Aliasws

The Prophetsaww said: ‘And what did you all hear from it?’ They said, ‘We heard it say, ‘Peace be upon youasws, ‘يا أول’ (O the First one). Hesaww said: ‘It spoke the truth, heasws is the first one to believe in mesaww’.

.خلني قبريصدقت، هو آخر الناس عهدا بي، يغسلني ويكفنني ويد: قال). يا آخر: (سمعناها تقول: فقالوا

‘ ,They said, ‘We heard it sayيا آخر ’ (O the Last one). Hesaww said: ‘It spoke the truth, heasws is the last of the people to separate from mesaww. Heasws will wash me saww, and shroud mesaww, and enter mesaww in mysaww grave’.

. صدقت، ظهر علمي آله له: قال). يا ظاهر: (قولسمعناها ت: فقالوا

They said, ‘We heard it say, ‘يا ظاهر’ (O Apparent one). Hesaww said: ‘It spoke the truth, all of mysaww knowledge has been made apparent to himasws’.

. صدقت، بطن سري آله: قال). يا باطن: (سمعناها تقول: قالوا

They said, ‘We heard it say, ‘يا باطن’ (O the Hidden one). Hesaww said: ‘It spoke the truth, all of mysaww secrets are hidden in himasws’.

صدقت، هو العالم بالحالل والحرام والفرائض والسنن وما شاآل : قال). يا من هو بكل شيئ عليم: (سمعناها تقول: قالوا. ذلك

They said, ‘We heard it say, ‘يا من هو بكل شيء عليم’ (O the one who is knowledgeable of all things). Hesaww said: ‘It spoke the truth, heasws is knowledgeable of the Permissibles and the Prohibitions, and the Obligations, and the Sunnah, and all (the things) resembling that’.

. وخرجوا من باب المسجد) لقد أوقعنا محمد في طخياء: (فقاموا آلهم وقالوا

All of them stood up and said, ‘Muhammadsaww has placed us in the ‘darkness’, and exited from the door of the Masjid.

أخبرني أبو المفضل محمد بن عبد اهللا بن المطلب : أخبرني أبو المرجا البلدي، قال: الكراجكي في آنز الفوائد قال حدثنا علي بن الحسين بن : حدثني الحسن بن علي بن نعيم بن سهل بن أبان بن محمد البغدادي، قال: الشيباني الكوفي، قال

حدثنا محمد بن سنان عن مفضل بن عمر الجعفي عن أبي خالد الكابلي عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي عن : كوفي، قالبشير الويحك، من : هل ينفعني حب علي عليه السالم؟ فقال: جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى اهللا عليه وآله فقال: عبد اهللا بن عباس قال

.عذبهأحبه أحبني ومن أحبني أحب اهللا، ومن أحب اهللا لم ي

Al-Karajaky in Kanz Al-Fawa’id said, ‘Narrated to me Abu Al-Marja Al-Balady, from Abu Al-MufazzAl-Muhammad Bin Abdullah Biin Al-Muttalib Al-Shaybany Al-Kufy, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Naeem Bin Sahl Bin Abaan Bin Muhammad Al-Baghdady, from Ali Bin Al-Husayn Bin Basheer Al-Kufy, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from MufazzAl-Ibn Umar Al-Ju’fy, from Abu Khalid Al-Kabily, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, from Abdullah Bin Abbas who said:

‘A man came to the Prophetsaww. He said, ‘Will the love for Aliasws benefit me?’ Hesaww said: ‘Woe be unto you! The one who loves himasws has loved mesaww, and the one who loves mesaww has loved Allahazwj, and the one who loves Allahazwj, Heazwj will not Punish him’.

فهبط جبرئيل لوقته، فسأله رسول . أسأل لك عن ذلك جبرئيل: فقال. زدني من فضل محبة علي عليه السالم: فقال الرجل.، وارتفع)سأسأل عن ذلك رب العزة: (فقال جبرئيل. اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله وأخبره بقول الرجل

The man said, ‘Increase for me from the virtues of the love for Aliasws’. Hesaww said: ‘Isaww shall ask Jibraeel for you, about that’. Jibraeel came down instantly. So the Messenger of Allahsaww informed him of what the man had asked for. Jibraeel said: ‘I shall ask the Lordazwj of Dignity, about that’, and ascended.

أنت مني بحيث شئت أنا، وعلي منك بحيث أنت مني، ومحبو : (إقرأ محمدا خيرتي مني السالم وقل له: فأوحى اهللا إليه). علي مني بحيث علي منك

Allahazwj Revealed to him (Jibraeel): “Convey to Muhammadsaww, best wishes and Greetings from Meazwj and say to himsaww: ‘Yousaww are from Measws where Iazwj Desire yousaww to be, and Aliasws is from yousaww where yousaww are from Meazwj, and the one with the love for Aliasws is from Meazwj where Aliasws is from yousaww’.

. أن السائل آان أبو ذر: وللحديث تمام، وفيه: قال الكراجكي

Al-Karajaky said, ‘And to complete the Hadith, and in it: ‘The questioner was (no other than) Abu Dharrar’.

Muhammad Bin Al-Abbas in his Commentary (Tafseer) (said), ‘Narrated to me Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Saeed by his chain, from his men, from Sulaym Bin Qays the following:

Al-Hassanasws Bin Aliasws has narrated from hisasws fatherasws regarding the Statement of the Mighty and Majestic: “[Shakir 56:10] And the foremost are the foremost, [Yusufali 56:11] These are those Nearest to Allah”.

Heasws said: ‘Iasws am the foremost of the foremost ones to Allahazwj and to Hisazwj Messengersaww, and the nearest of the proximity ones to Allahazwj and to Hisazwj Messengersaww’.

أبو ذر ينادي بالوالية في موسم الحج) 75(

ABU DHARRar CALLS FOR THE WILAYAH DURING THE SEASON OF HAJJ (THE PILGRIMAGE)

لباب، ثم نادى بينما أنا وحنش بن المعتمر بمكة إذ قام أبو ذر وأخذ بحلقة ا: قال سليم بن قيس: الطبرسي في اإلحتجاج قالأيها الناس، إني . أيها الناس، من عرفني فقد عرفني ومن جهلني فأنا جندب بن جنادة، أنا أبو ذر: بأعلى صوته في الموسم

مثل أهل بيتي في أمتي آمثل سفينة نوح في قومه، من رآبها نجا ومن ترآها غرق، ومثل باب حطة : (سمعت نبيكم يقول). في بني إسرائيل

Al-Tabarsy in Al-Ihtijaj has reported: ‘Sulaym Bin Qays said, ‘I and Hanash Bin Al-Mo’tamar were in Mecca, when Abu Dharrar stood up and grabbed the doorknob of the Door (of Kaabah), then called out in a loud voice, during the season (of Hajj), ‘O you people! The one who knows mear, he knows mear, and the one who does not know mear should know that I am Jundab Bin Janadaar, Iar am Abu Dharrar.

Iar heard your Prophetsaww saying: ‘The example of the Peopleasws of mysaww Household within mysaww community is like the example of the Ark of Noahas in hisas community. The one who sailed in it was saved and the one who avoided it, drowned, and the example of the Door of Hitta in the Children of Israel.

إلى ...) آتاب اهللا وأهل بيتي: مسكتم بهماإني ترآت فيكم أمرين، لن تضلوا ما إن ت: (أيها الناس، إني سمعت نبيكم يقول.آخر الحديث

O you people! I heard your Prophetsaww saying: ‘Isaww am leaving behind among you all two Commands. You will not go astray if you attach yourselves to these two – the Book of Allahazwj and the Peopleasws of mysaww Household ...’, up to the end of the Hadith.

عهد عهده إلي : ما حملك على ما قمت به في الموسم؟ قال: عثمان يؤاخذ أبا ذر فلما قدم المدينة بعث إليه عثمان فقالهدا، ثم انصرفوا من يشهد بذلك؟ فقام علي عليه السالم والمقداد فش: فقال. رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله وأمرني به

. إن هذا وصاحبيه يحسبون أنهم في شيئ: فقال عثمان. يمشون ثالثتهم

Usman blamed Abu Dharrar when he returned to Al-Medina. Usmaan sent for him, so he said, ‘What came over you that you stood by it during the season (of Hajj)?’ Hear said, ‘The oath that the Messenger of Allahsaww held mear to and ordered mear for’. He said, ‘Who is the witness for that?’ So Aliasws and Al-Miqdadar stood up and testified to it, then the three of them left. Usmaan said, ‘This oneasws and hisasws companions consider themselves as something (important)’.

خطبة اإلمام الحسن عليه السالم عند الصلح مع معاوية) 76(

SERMON OF THE IMAM AL-HASSANasws DURING THE RECONCILIATION WITH MUAWIYA

قام الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب عليه : الطبرسي في اإلحتجاج وابن المطهر في العدد القوية عن سليم بن قيس، قالأيها الناس، إن معاوية زعم أني رأيته للخالفة : فحمد اهللا وأثنى عليه، ثم قال-تمع مع معاوية حين اج-السالم على المنبر

.أهال ولم أر نفسي لها أهال، وآذب معاوية

Al-Tabarsy in Al-Ihtijaj, and Ibn Al-Mat’har in Al-Adad Al-Qawiyya, from Sulaym Bin Qays who said: ‘Al-Hassanasws Bin Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws stood up upon the Pulpit – when heasws was together with Muawiya – so heasws Praised Allahazwj and Extolled Himazwj, then said: ‘O you people! Muawiya is alleging that Iasws see him to be deserving of the Caliphate, and that Iasws do not see myselfasws as deserving of it, and Muawiya has lied.

فأقسم باهللا، لو أن الناس بايعوني وأطاعوني ونصروني ألعطتهم . أنا أولى الناس بالناس في آتاب اهللا وعلى لسان نبي اهللا.السماء قطرها واألرض برآتها، ولما طمعت فيها يا معاوية

Iasws am higher to the people than the people are to themselves as per the Book of Allahazwj and by the words of the Rasool Allahsaww. So Iasws say by Allahazwj, that had the people pledged their allegiances to usasws (the Divine Imamsasws) and obeyed usasws, and helped usasws, ‘قطرها’ (bounties) would have descended from the Heavens and the earth (would uncover) it’s treasures, whereas you coveted it, O Muawiya.

ما ولت أمة أمرها رجال قط وفيهم من هو أعلم منه إال لم يزل أمرهم يذهب : (وقد قال رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآلهالعجل وهم يعلمون أن هارون وقد ترك بنو إسرائيل هارون واعتكفوا على ). سفاال حتى يرجعوا إلى ملة عبدة العجل

.خليفة موسى

And the Messenger of Allahsaww has said: ‘No community will hand over its affairs to a man at all, whilst among them is the one who is more knowledgeable than him, except that it will not cease to decline in its affairs, going lower to the extent that it returns to the nation who worshiped the calf’. And the Children of Israel had ignored Harounas and surrounded themselves to the calf, whilst they were aware that Harounas is the Caliph of Musaas.

أنت مني بمنزلة هارون من : ( سمعوا رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله يقول لعلي عليه السالموقد ترآت األمة عليا وقد).موسى غير النبوة فال نبي بعدي

And the community has deserted Aliasws although they had heard the Messenger of Allahsaww saying regarding Aliasws: ‘Youasws are from mesaww of the status which Harounas had from Musaas, apart from the Prophet-hood, so there will be no Prophetas to come after mesaww’.

وقد هرب رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله من قومه وهو يدعوهم إلى اهللا حتى فر إلى الغار، ولو وجد عليهم أعوانا ما . وانا ما بايعتك يا معاويةولو وجدت أع. هرب منهم


And the Messenger of Allahsaww had escaped from hissaww people, and hesaww was calling them to Allahazwj, until hesaww had to take a cover inside the cave, and had hesaww found helpers against them, hesaww would not have gone away from them. And had Iasws found helpers, Iasws would have opposed you, O Muawiya.

وقد جعل اهللا هارون في سعة حين استضعفوه، وآادوا يقتلونه ولم يجد عليهم أعوانا، وقد جعل اهللا النبي في سعة حين فر وإنما . حين ترآتنا األمة وبايعت غيرنا ولم نجد أعواناوآذلك أنا وأبي في سعة من اهللا . من قومه لما لم يجد أعوانا عليهم

. هي السنن واألمثال يتبع بعضها بعضا

And Allahazwj had Made Harounas to be in a time period when heas was considered to be weak, and they had plotted to kill himas, and heas did not find helpers against them. And Allahazwj had Made the Prophetas to be in a time period when hesaww had to escape from hissaww people, when hesaww did not find helpers against them. And similarly, Iasws and myasws fatherasws were in a time period from Allahazwj when the community deserted usasws and pledged their allegiances to others, and weasws did not find helpers. But rather, this is the way (Sunnah) and the parables which some follow from others.

. أيها الناس، إنكم لو التمستم فيما بين المشرق والمغرب لم تجدوا رجال من ولد النبي غيري وغير أخي

O you people! If you were to go seeking in what is between the East and the West, you will not find men from the sonsasws of the Prophetsaww apart from myselfasws and myasws brotherasws’.

Al-Husayn Bin Aliasws was upon hissaww thigh, and hesaww gazed upon hisasws face and kissed himasws between hisasws eyes, and said: ‘Youasws are the Chief, sonasws of a Chief. Youasws are an Imamasws, sonasws of an Imamasws, brother of an Imamasws, father of Imamsasws. Youasws are the Proof of Allahazwj sonasws of a Proof of Allahazwj, and father of Proofs, nine from yourasws descendants, the ninth oneasws of themasws being theirasws Rising one (Al-Qaimasws)’.

الجنة تشتاق إلى أربعة من الصحابة) 78(

THE PARADISE IS DESIROUS FOR FOUR FROM THE COMPANIONS

حدثني : حدثني القاسم بن إسماعيل األنباري، قال: حدثني علي بن محمد بن عمر الزهري، قال: فرات في تفسيره قالحدثني أبان بن أبي عياش : ون السندي، قالحفص بن عاصم ونصر بن مزاحم وعبد اهللا بن المغيرة عن محمد بن هار

أمر اهللا رسوله بحب أربعة من أصحابه : عن سليم بن قيس، قال

Furaat, in his Commentary (Tafseer), said, ‘Narrated to me Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Umar Al-Zahry, from Al-Qasim Bin Ismail Al-Anbary, from Hafs Bin Aasim and Nasr Bin Mazaahim, and Abdullah Bin Al-Mugheira, from Muhammad Bin Haroun Al-Sanady, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays, who said:

‘Allahazwj Ordered Hisazwj Messenger to love four from hissaww companions’.

. سالم ونحن قعود في المسجد، بعد رجوعه من صفين وقبل يوم النهروانخرج أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب عليه الفذآر قصة طويلة. سل: قال. يا أمير المؤمنين، أخبرنا عن أصحابك: فقعد علي عليه السالم واحتوشناه، فقال له رجل

Amir-ul-Momineen Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws came out (of hisasws house) and we were seated in the Masjid, (that was) after hisasws return from Siffeen and before the Day of Al-Nahrwaan. So Aliasws sat down and we encircled himasws. A Man said to himasws, ‘O Amir-ul-Momineenasws, inform us about yourasws companions’. Heasws said: ‘Ask’. So he mentioned a long narration.

إن اهللا أمرني بحب أربعة رجال من أصحابي : إني سمعت رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله يقول في آالم طويل له: فقال.ثم سكت) علي بن أبي طالب: (من هم يا رسول اهللا؟ فقال: فقيل. وأخبرني أنه يحبهم وأن الجنة تشتاق إليهم

Heasws said: ‘Iasws heard the Messenger of Allahsaww saying in a lengthy speech that: ‘Allahazwj Ordered mesaww to love four men from mysaww companions, and Informed mesaww that Heazwj Loves them and that the Paradise is desirous for them’. Someone said, ‘And who are they, O Messenger of Allahsaww?’ Hesaww said: ‘Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws’, then (hesaww became) silent.

علي وثالثة معه، هو إمامهم : (من هم يا رسول اهللا؟ فقال: فقالوا. ، ثم سكت)علي: (من هم يا رسول اهللا؟ فقال: فقالوا ). فتقسو قلوبهم، سلمان وأبو ذر والمقدادوال يضلون وال يرجعون وال يطول عليهم األمدال ينثنون . ودليلهم وهاديهم

He said, ‘Who are they, O Messenger of Allahsaww?’ Hesaww said: ‘Ali’, then hesaww

was silent. So he said, ‘Who are they, O Messenger of Allahsaww?’ Hesaww said: ‘Aliasws and three (that are) with himasws, and heasws is theirar Imamasws, and theirar Evidence and theirar Guide. They will neither fall into doubt nor go astray, nor turn back, nor will the passing of time harden their hearts – Salmanar, and Abu Dharrar and Al-Miqdadar’.

Knowledge of Amir-ul-Momineenasws in the possession of the Imamsasws up to the Day of Judgement

Hesaww mentioned a long narration, then said: ‘Call Aliasws for mesaww’. So Iasws came up to himsaww, and he divulged to measws the secret of a thousand doors, each of those doors opens up to a thousand further doors’.

سلوني قبل أن تفقدوني، فوالذي فلق الحبة وبرأ النسمة، إني ألعلم بالتوراة : عليه السالم وقالثم أقبل علينا أمير المؤمنين.من أهل التوراة، وإني ألعلم باإلنجيل من أهل اإلنجيل، وإني ألعلم بالقرآن من أهل القرآن

Then Amir-ul-Momineenasws turned towards us and said: ‘Ask measws, before you all lose measws, for, by the Oneazwj Who Split the seed and germinated plantation from it, Iasws have more knowledgeable of the Torah than the people of the Torah, and Iasws am more knowledgeable of the Evangel than the people of the Evangel, and Iasws am more knowledgeable of the Quran than the people of the Quran.

وسلوني عن . والذي فلق الحبة وبرأ النسمة، ما من فئة تبلغ مائة رجل إلى يوم القيامة إال وأنا عارف بقائدها وسائقهاوما يعلم تأويله إال اهللا . (القرآن، فإن في القرآن بيان آل شيئ وفيه علم األولين واآلخرين، وإن القرآن لم يدع لقائل مقاال

رسول اهللا منهم، أعلمه اهللا إياه فعلمنيه رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله، ثم ال يزال في . احدليسوا بو) والراسخون في العلم. عقبنا إلى يوم القيامة

By the Oneazwj Who Split the seed and germinated plantation from it, there is no group which will reach to a hundred men except that Iasws recognise its guide and its organisers. And ask measws about the Quran, for in the Quran is the explanation of all things, and in it is the knowledge of the Former ones and the Later ones, and that the Quran did not leave for any speaker to say anything, “[3:7] but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge”, not even one. The Messenger of Allahsaww is one of them (those firmly rooted in knowledge). Allahazwj taught himsaww, and the Messenger of Allah made it known to measws, then it will not cease but to be in ourasws lineage up to the Day of Judgement’.

، وأنا من رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله بمنزلة )بقية مما ترك آل موسى وآل هارون: (ثم قرأ أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم. هارون من موسى، والعلم في عقبنا إلى أن تقوم الساعة

Then Amir-ul-Momineenasws recited; “[2:248] residue of the relics of what the children of Musa and the children of Haroun have left,”, and Iasws am from the Messenger of Allahsaww of the status which Harounas had from Musaas, and the knowledge is in ourasws posterity up to the Establishment of the Hour (Day of Judgement’.

Al-Hassan Bin Suleyman Al-Hilli in Mukhtasar Basaair Al-Darajaat, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, and Ali Bin Ismail Bin Isa, and Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn Bin Abu Al-Khataab, from Usmaan Bin Isa, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Ab Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, who said –

إختيار الناس لغير الحق ال يضر أهل الحق

ابنيه الحسن والحسين عليهما وهو بين- وهو الشهر الذي قتل فيه -سمعت عليا عليه السالم يقول في شهر رمضان دعوا الناس وما رضوا ألنفسهم، وألزموا أنفسكم : السالم وبني عبد اهللا بن جعفر بن أبي طالب وخاصة شيعته، وهو يقول

. وعدو باغ حاسدفإنه ال يعدمكم ما ينتحل أمرآمالسكوت ودولة عدوآم،

The people’s wrong choice does not harm the people of the truth

‘I heard Aliasws saying in the Month of Ramadhan – and it was the Month in which heasws was martyred – and heasws was among hisasws sons Al-Hassanasws and Al-Husaynasws, and sons of Abdullah Bin Ja’far Bin Abu Talib, and special ones of hisasws Shiites, and heasws said: ‘Leave the people to what they are happy with for themselves, and necessitate for yourselves the silence and the governance of your enemies, they will not be able to finish you off so long as you are firm in your faith, and the enemy is rebellious, envious’.

، وصنف يأآلون بنا، وصنف بين بنورناصنف : الناس في نسبتهم إلى أهل البيت عليهم السالم ثالثة الناس ثالثة أصنافأولئك الشيعة النجباء الحكماء والعلماء الفقهاء واألتقياء األسخياء، طوبى لهم . اهتدوا بنا واقتدوا بأمرنا، هم أقل األصناف

The people, in regards to the Peopleasws of the Household, are of three categories – A category which have been illuminated by ourasws Light, and a category which consumes from ourasws (resources), and a category which is guided by usasws and believes in ourasws commands, they are in the minority category. These are the Shiites who are the excellent, and wise, the knowledgeable ones, the understanding ones, the pious ones, the generous ones. Blessings are for them and a goodly return’.

Al-Haskany in Shawaahid Al-Tanzeel, said, ‘Informed us Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Ahmad Al-Sowfy, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al-Haafiz, from Abdul Azeez Bin Yahya Bin Ahmad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Umeyr, from Bashar Bin Al-Mufazzal, from Isa Bin Yusuf, from Abu Al-Hassan Ali Bin Yahya, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly has narrated:

Aliasws said: ‘Allahazwj Meant usasws by Hisazwj Statement: “[2:143] that you may be the bearers of witness to the people and (that) the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you”. So the Messenger of Allahsaww is a witness over usasws, and weasws are witnesses of Allahazwj over Hisazwj creatures, and Hisazwj Proofs in Hisazwj earth. And weasws are the ones about whom Allahazwj Majestic in Hisazwj Name, said: “[2:143] And thus We have made you a medium (just) nation”.

Aliasws said: ‘Weasws are the onesasws amongst whomasws Allahazwj Sent a Messengersaww, reciting to usasws Hisazwj Verses, and Purifying usasws, and teaching usasws the Book and the Wisdom’.

.والغلو والشك والشبهة

Al-Kulayni in Al-Kafi, from Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hamaad Bin Isa, from Ibrahim Bin Umar Al-Yamany, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, who has narrated:

Amir-ul-Momineenasws said: ‘The Infidelity (Al-Kufr) is based upon four foundations – The debauchery, and the exaggeration, and the doubt, and the suspicion.

شعب الفسق

على الحنث فمن جفا احتقر الحق ومقت الفقهاء وأصر. على الجفا والعمى والغفلة والعتو: والفسق على أربع شعب. العظيم

Branches of the debauchery (Seduction)

And the debauchery has four branches – the disloyalty, the blind (following), and the negligence, and the arrogance. So the one who is disloyal will despise the truth, and abhor the people of understanding, and will insist on committing great sins.

.ومن عمى نسي الذآر واتبع الظن وبارز خالقه وألح عليه الشيطان وطلب المغفرة بال توبة وال استكانة وال غفلة

And the one who is blind (follower) will forget the Remembrance and follow the conjectures and go against his Creator and the Satanla will urge him to seek Forgiveness without repentance, neither was he submissiveness, nor ignorant.

ومن غفل جنى على نفسه وانقلب على ظهره وحسب غيه رشدا وغرته األماني، وأخذته الحسرة والندامة إذا قضي األمر .ا له ما لم يكن يحتسبوانكشف عنه الغطاء وبد

And the one who is negligent will deceive himself, and turn around backwards, and consider his error to be the right way, and his aspirations will deceive him, and he will be overtaken by regret and remorse if the matter transpires, and the cover is lifted from him, and it appears to him different to what he had considered it to be.

. ومن عتا عن أمر اهللا شك، ومن شك تعالى اهللا عليه فأذله بسلطانه وصغره بجالله آما اغتر بربه الكريم وفرط في أمره

And the one who is arrogant about the Command of Allahazwj will doubt, and the one who doubts Allahazwj the High will Disgrace him by hisazwj Authority, and Belittle him by Hisazwj Majesty just as he had (tried to) deceive his Generous Lordazwj, and left Hisazwj Commands’.


شعب الغلو

. على التعمق بالرأي والتنازع فيه والزيغ والشقاق: شعبوالغلو على أربع

Branches of the exaggeration (Al-Ghuloo)

And the exaggeration has four branches – Delving into opinions, and conflict over it, and the deviation and the discord.

ا في الغمرات ولم تنحسر عنه فتنة إال غشيته أخرى وانخرق دينه فهو فمن تعمق لم ينب إلى الحق ولم يزدد إال غرق. يهوي في أمر مريج

So the one who delves (into opinions) will not get to the truth, and it will not increase him (in anything) except for his sinking even deeper into the distress, and the strife (Al-Fitna) will never recede from him, except make him fall into another one again, and it will shred his Religion, so he will fall into more confusion.

.ومن نازع في الرأي وخاصم شهر بالعثل من طول اللجاج

And the one who disputes in the opinions and antagonises by it, will become well known for his lengthy challenges (debates).

ومن زاغ قبحت عنده الحسنة وحسنت عنده السيئة،

And the one who deviates, the beautiful (deeds) will seem to be ugly to him, and the ugly (deeds) will seem to be beautiful.

. ورت عليه طرقه واعترض عليه أمره فضاق عليه مخرجه إذا لم يتبع سبيل المؤمنينومن شاق أع

And the one who disunites, his way will seem to be lacking and will be opposed in his affairs. So his exit (from the group) will be constrictive to him if he does not follow the way of the Believers.

شعب الشك

).فبأي آالء ربك تتمارى: (على المرية والهوى والتردد واالستسالم، وهو قول اهللا عز وجل: والشك على أربع شعب

Branches of the doubt

And the doubt has four branches – the dispute, and the desire, and the hesitation, and the surrender (giving up), and it is the Statement of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic: “[53:55] Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about?”

فمن هاله ما بين يديه نكص على عقبيه ومن امترى في الدين تردد في الريب وسبقه األولون من المؤمنين وأدرآه . نابك الشيطاناآلخرون ووطئته س

The one who is petrified of what is in front of him will turn back on his heels, and the one who disputes in the Religion will frequently be in (deep) uncertainties, and the


former ones from the Believers will move in front of him, and the later ones will catch up with him, and he will be trod on by the feet of the Satanla.

. ومن استسلم لهلكة الدنيا واآلخرة هلك فيما بينهما، ومن نجا من ذلك فمن فضل اليقين، ولم يخلق اهللا خلقا أقل من اليقين

And the one who surrenders (gives up) due to the severe exhaustion of the world and the Hereafter will perish in what is in between them, and the one who will achieve salvation from that is the one who preferred the conviction (certainty), and Allahazwj did not Create (anything) less than conviction (certainty).

شعب الشبهة

.إعجاب بالزينة وتسويل النفس وتأويل العوج ولبس الحق بالباطل: والشبهة على أربع شعب

Branches of the suspicion

And the suspicion has four branches – Admiration of the ornament, and the deceiving of one’s own self, and the corrupt interpretation, and clothing the truth with the falsehood (hypocrisy).

وذلك بأن الزينة تصدف عن البينة، وإن تسويل النفس يقحم على الشهوة، وإن العوج يميل بصاحبه ميال عظيما، وإن . اللبس ظلمات بعضها فوق بعض

And that by the ornaments you will turn away from the clear proof, and the deceiving of the soul intrudes upon the desires, and the corruption fills its owner with a great filling, and that the hypocrisy (clothing the truth with the falsehood) leads to darkness upon darkness.

.فذلك الكفر ودعائمه وشعبه

So that is the infidelity and its foundations, and its branches.

2 – The foundations of the hypocrisy

. ي آثرت غوائله وتخلى منه ونصر عليهفمن بغ

The one who rebels would be in numerous difficulties, and he would be left alone and help would be sought against him.

ومن لم يعذل نفسه في الشهوات خاض في . ومن اعتدى لم تؤمن بوائقه، ولم يسلم قلبه ولم يملك نفسه عن الشهوات. الخبيثات، ومن طغى ضل على عمد بال حجة

The one who is aggressive will neither be safe even from his trustworthy (allies), nor his heart will be safe and nor he will not be able to control himself from the lusts. The one who does not isolate himself from the lusts will indulge in the evil acts, and the one who is tyrannical goes astray without any justification.

شعب الهوينا

. على الغرة واألمل والهيبة والمماطلة: والهوينا على أربع شعب

Branches of the Negligence

And the negligence is upon four branches. It is upon the indolence, and the hope, and the prestige, and the procrastination.

. وذلك بأن الهيبة ترد عن الحق، والمماطلة تفرط في العمل حتى يقدم عليه األجل

And that prestige will repulse from the truth, and the procrastination lays waste to the work until the death comes to him.

. ولوال األمل علم اإلنسان حساب ما هو فيه، ولو علم حساب ما هو فيه مات خفاتا من الهول والوجل

And had it not been for hope, the human being would come to know the situation he is in, and if he knows what he is in, he would die due to the fear from the horror and apprehension.

.والغرة تقصر بالمرء عن العمل

And the indolence makes a man neglect his work.

شعب الحفيظة

.والعصبية والحميةعلى الكبر والفخر : والحفيظة على أربع شعب

Branches of the Prejudice

And the prejudice is upon four branches. It is upon the arrogance, and the pride, and the impertinence and the discrimination.

فبئس األمر أمر . فمن استكبر أدبر من الحق، ومن فخر فجر، ومن حمى أصر على الذنوب، ومن أخذته العصبية جار. بين إدبار وفجور وإصرار وجور على الصراط


The one who is arrogant will depart from the truth, and the one who is proud will be immoral, and the one who is impertinent (snobby) will insist on the sinning, and the one who is overtaken by discrimination will be unjust. So, evil is the matter, the matter between the departure (from the truth), and the injustices and the immoralities, and the insistence on sinning, and being tyrannical upon the straight path.

شعب الطمع

. الفرح والمرح واللجاجة والتكاثر: والطمع على أربع شعب

Branches of the greed

And the greed is upon four branches – being over joyful, and being boastful, and being quarrelsome, and being the proud.

فالفرح مكروه عند اهللا، والمرح خيالء، واللجاجة بالء لمن اضطرته إلى حمل اآلثام، والتكاثر لهو ولعب وشغل واستبدال . الذي هو أدنى بالذي هو خير

Being overjoyed is Considered abhorrent by Allahazwj, and the boastful is the vanity, and being quarrelsome is a scourge and gets one to carry the burden of the sins, and being proud leads one to useless and time wasting activities.

. فذلك النفاق ودعائمه وشعبه

So that is the hypocrisy and its foundations and its branches.

سنن إلهية في الخلق

واهللا قاهر فوق عباده، تعالى ذآره وجل وجهه وأحسن آل شيئ خلقه وانبسطت يداه ووسعت آل شيئ رحمته وظهر أمره وأشرق نوره وفاضت برآته واستضاءت حكمته وهيمن آتابه وفلجت حجته وخلص دينه واستظهر سلطانه وحقت آلمته

. قسطت موازينه وبلغت رسلهوأ

And Allahazwj is Compelling over Hisazwj creatures, High is Hisazwj Remembrance, and Majectic is Hisazwj Face, and beautiful is everything that Heazwj Created, and Extended (Generous) is Hisazwj Hand, and everything has been Overcome by Hisazwj Mercy, and Hisazwj Command is manifest, and Hisazwj Light is Shining, and Hisazwj Blessings are overflowing, and Hisazwj Wisdom is Illuminating, and Hisazwj Book is Dominating, and Hisazwj Proofs are Decisive, and Hisazwj religion is Pure, and Hisazwj Authority is Apparent, and Hisazwj Words are True, and Hisazwj Scale is Balanced, and Hisazwj Message has reached.

فمن تاب اهتدى، ومن . فجعل السيئة ذنبا، والذنب فتنة، والفتنة دنسا، وجعل الحسنى عتبى، والعتبى توبة، والتوبة طهورا. إلى اهللا ويعترف بذنبه وال يهلك على اهللا إال هالكافتتن غوى ما لم يتب

So Heazwj made the bad (deed) to be a sin, and the sin to be ‘fitna’ strife, and the strife to be filth. And Heazwj made the good (deed) to be a blessing, and the blessing to be repentance, and the repentance to be pure. So the one who is repentant will be guided, and the one who is involved in ‘fitna’ (strife) will go astray and will not repent to Allahazwj and will admit his guilt, and he who goes against Allahazwj will perish.


وما أنكل ما عنده من األنكال والجحيم والبطش . ه من التوبة والرحمة والبشرى والحلم العظيماهللا، اهللا فما أوسع ما لدي. الشديد

Allahazwj, Allahazwj, how broad and near to them is the Repentance, and the Mercy, and the Good news, and the Great Forbearance. And how severe is what is with Himazwj from the Fetters, and the Hell, and the Grievous Punishment.

. فمن ظفر بطاعته اجتلب آرامته، ومن دخل في معصيته ذاق وبال نقمته، وعما قليل ليصبحن نادمين

So the one who succeeded by being obedient to Himazwj will be the recipient of Hisazwj Honour, and the one entered in being disobedient to Himazwj will taste the scourge of Hisazwj Retribution, and so few are the ones who are repentant.’

SUPPLICATION TO FACILITATE THE BIRTH

يرفي عن محمد بن أسلم عن الحسن بن ابنا بسطام في طب األئمة عليهم السالم عن الخواتيمي عن محمد بن علي الصإني ألعرف آيتين : محمد الهاشمي عن أبان بن أبي عياش عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي عن أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم، قال

بسم اهللا وباهللا، إن مع : (من آتاب اهللا المنزل تكتبان للمرأة إذا عسر عليها ولدها، تكتبان في رق ظبي ويعلقه في حقويها.، سبع مرات) عسر يسرا، إن مع العسر يسراال

Ibn Bastaan in Tibb Al-Aimmaasws, from Al-Khwataymi, from Muhammad Bin Ali Al-Sayrafi, from Muhammad Bin Aslam, from Al-Hassan Bin Muhammad Al-Hashmy, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, who has narrated:

Amir-ul-Momineenasws said: ‘Iasws know of two Verses from the Revealed Book of Allahazwj, to be written for the woman in order to ease her pangs of birth. Both of these are to be written on the skin of a deer, and to be attached to her waist – “In the Name of Allahazwj, the Beneficent, the Merciful, [94:5] Surely with difficulty is ease. [94:6] With difficulty is surely ease” seven times.

يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم، إن زلزلة الساعة شيئ عظيم، يوم ترونها تذهل آل مرضعة عما أرضعت وتضع آل ذات ( .مرة واحدة) ها وترى الناس سكارى وما هم بسكارى ولكن عذاب اهللا شديدحمل حمل

“[22:1] O people! guard against (the punishment from) your Lord; surely the violence of the hour is a grievous thing. [22:2] On the day when you shall see it, every woman giving feed shall quit in confusion what she fed, and every pregnant woman shall lay down her burden, and you shall see men intoxicated, and they shall not be intoxicated but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.” Once.

فإذا ولدته قطعته من ساعتك وال . فخذها األيسريكتب على ورقة وتربط بخيط من آتان غير مفتول وتشد على). حي ولدت مريم ومريم ولدت حي، يا حي اهبط إلى األرض الساعة بإذن اهللا تعالى: (ويكتب. تتواني عنه

Write upon the paper, and connect it with a linen thread, not being woven, to be tied to her left thigh. So when the birth takes place, it should be untied and do not be careless from it. And write, ‘The live one gave birth to Maryamas, and Maryam gave birth to a live one. O Live one, get down to the earth right now by the Permission of Allahazwj, the High’.

حرم اهللا الجنة على الفحاش) 89(

ALLAHazwj HAS PROHIBITED THE PARADISE TO THE IMMORAL-ONES

الحسين بن سعيد في آتاب الزهد والعياشي في تفسيره والكليني في الكافي عن عدة من أصحابنا عن أحمد بن محمد بن يم بن قيس عن أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم، خالد عن عثمان بن عيسى عن عمر بن أذينة عن أبان بن أبي عياش عن سل

إن اهللا حرم الجنة على آل فحاش بذي قليل الحياء ال يبالي ما قال وال ما قيل له، : قال رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله: قال .لغية أو شرك شيطان فإنك إن فتشته لم تجده إال

Al-Husayn Bin Saeed in Kitaab Al-Zohad, and Al-Ayyashi in his Commentary (Tafseer), and Al-Kulayni from a number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usmaan Bin Isa, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays, who has narrated the following:

Amir-ul-Momineenasws says that the Messenger of Allahsaww said: ‘Allahazwj has Prohibited the Paradise to every immoral person, who has little shame, who does not care what he says and what is said about him, for if you inspect him (closely) you will not find him to be anything except that Satanla has been associated with his birth’.

وشارآهم : (أما تقرأ قول اهللا عز وجل: يا رسول اهللا، وفي الناس شرك شيطان؟ فقال رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله: فقيلعرض للناس، فقال فيهم وهو نعم، من ت: وفي الناس من ال يبالي ما قال وما قيل له؟ فقال: ؟ فقيل)في األموال واألوالد

. يعلم أنهم ال يترآونه فذلك الذي ال يبالي ما قال وما قيل له

So someone said, ‘O Messenger of Allahsaww, and within the people is there a share of Satanla?’ The Messenger of Allahsaww said: ‘But have you not read the Statement of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic: “[17:64] and share with them in wealth and children”?’ So he asked, ‘And among the people who is one who does not care what he says and what is said about him?’ Hesaww said: ‘Yes, the one who interrupts (and forces himself to) people, so they speak about him, and he knows that they will not leave him, so that is the one does not care what he says and what is said about him’.

قلة الكالم عالمة فقه الرجل) 90(

BEING OF LITTLE SPEECH IS A SIGN OF THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE MAN

: حدثني عبد الرزاق بن سليمان بن غالب األزدي قال: أخبرنا جماعة عن أبي المفضل، قال: الشيخ الطوسي في أماليهحدثني عمر بن أذينة عن : حدثنا حماد بن عيسى الغريق، قال: حدثنا الفضل بن المفضل بن قيس بن زمانة األشعري، قال

من : (قال رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله: بي طالب عليه السالم، قالأبان بن أبي عياش عن سليم بن قيس عن علي بن أ). فقه الرجل قلة آالمه فيما ال يعنيه

Al-Sheykh Al-Tusi in his Amaali said, ‘Informed us a group, from Abu Al-Mufazzal, from Abdul Razzaq Bin Suleyman Bin Gaalab Al-Azdy, from Al-Fazl Bin Al-MufazzAl-Bin Qays Bin Zamaanat Al-Ashary, from Hamaad Bin Isa ‘Al-Ghareek’, from Umar Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays, who has narrated the following:

GLAD TIDINGS OF THE MESSENGER OF ALLAHsaww OF THE IMAM AL-MAHDIasws

حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن فضال وابن أبي نجران عن حماد بن : د الفضل بن شاذان بن خليل في إثبات الرجعةأبو محمقال رسول اهللا صلى : عيسى عن عبد اهللا بن مسكان عن أبان بن تغلب عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي عن سلمان الفارسي، قال

. بلى: ا بالمهدي؟ قالو- أيها الناس -أال أبشرآم : اهللا عليه وآله

Abu Muhammad Al-FazAl-Bin Shazaan Bin Khaleel in Asaabat Al-Raj’at said, ‘Narrated to us Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazal, and Ibn Abu Najran, from Hamaad Bin Isa, from Abdullah Bin Muskaan, from Aban Bin Taghlub, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, from Salman Al-Farsyar, whoar said:

‘The Messenger of Allahsaww said: ‘Shall Isaww give you the news – O you people – of the Mahdiasws?’ They said, ‘Yes’.

. فاعلموا أن اهللا تعالى يبعث في أمتي سلطانا عادال وإماما قاسطا يمأل األرض قسطا وعدال آما ملئت جورا وظلما: قال. وهو التاسع من ولد ولدي الحسين، اسمه اسمي وآنيته آنيتي

Hesaww said: ‘So know that Allahazwj the High will be Sending in mysaww community a just Sultan and an equitable Imamasws whoasws will fill the earth ’سلطانا عادال وإماما قاسطا‘with equity and justice just as it had been filled with inequity and injustice.

And heasws is the ninth from the sonsasws of mysaww son Al-Husaynasws. Hisasws name will be (the same as) mysaww name, and hisazwj Kunniya (teknonym) (will be the same as) mysaww Kunniya.

. خير في الحياة بعده، وال يكون انتهاء دولته إال قبل القيامة بأربعين يوماأال وال

Surely, there is no good in the life after himasws, nor will there be an end to hisasws government except forty days before the Day of Judgement’.


HADITH 92

م في السماوات واألرضعظمة علي عليه السال) 92(

GREATNESS OF ALIasws IN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH

قال رسول اهللا صلى اهللا : روى الصدوق بإسناده إلى سليم بن قيس، قال: السيد نعمة اهللا الجزائري في األنوار النعمانية. ا آالقمر بالليل في األرضعلي في السماء السابعة آالشمس بالنهار في األرض، وفي السماء الدني: عليه وآله

Al-Syed Ne’matullah Al-Jazairi in Al-Anwaar Al-No’maniya said, ‘Al-Sadouq has reported by his chain going up to Sulaym Bin Qays, who said:

‘The Messenger of Allahsaww said: ‘Aliasws in the seventh heaven is like the sun during the daytime in the earth, and in the sky of the world like the full moon at night in the earth.

أعطى اهللا تعالى عليا من الفضل جزءا لو قسم على أهل األرض لوسعهم، وأعطاه اهللا من الفهم جزءا لو قسم على أهل . األرض لوسعهم

Allahazwj the High has Given Aliasws such ‘الفضل’ preferences that if a part of it is distributed upon the inhabitants of the earth it would be excessive for them (for their deliverance in the Hereafter). And Allahazwj has Given himasws such understanding that if a part of it is distributed upon the inhabitants of the earth, it would still be excessive for them.

شبهت لينه بلين لوط، وخلقه بخلق يحيى، وزهده بزهد أيوب، وسخاؤه بسخاء إبراهيم، وبهجته ببهجة سليمان بن داود، . وقوته بقوة داود

Hisasws softness can be likened to the softness of Lutas, and hisasws morals with the morals of Yahyaas, and hisasws ascetism with the ascetism of Ayyubas, and hisas generosity with the generosity of Ibrahimas, and hisasws arguments with the arguments of Suleyman Bin Dawoodas, and hisasws strength with the strength of Dawoodas.

.الحديث... له اسم مكتوب على آل حجاب في الجنة، بشرني ربي

من فضائل علي عليه السالم) 93(

FROM THE VIRTUES OF ALIasws

حدثني جعفر بن محمد بن هشام، عن عبادة بن زياد، عن أبي معمر : فرات في تفسيره والحسكاني في شواهد التنزيلسعيد بن خثيم، عن محمد بن خالد الضبي وعبد اهللا بن شريك العامري، عن سليم بن قيس عن الحسن بن على عليه

، فكما )لسابقون األولون من المهاجرين واألنصار والذين اتبعوهم بإحسانا: (إنه حمد اهللا تعالى وأثنى عليه وقال: السالم. أن للسابقين فضلهم على من بعدهم آذلك ألبي علي بن أبي طالب عليه السالم فضيلته على السابقين بسبقه السابقين

Furaat in his Commentary (Tafseer), and Al-Haskaany in Shawaahid Al-Tanzeel, said, ‘Narrated to me Ja’far Bin Muhammad Bin Hashaam, from Abaadat Bin Ziyad, from Abu Ma’mar Saeed Bin Khaseem, from Muhammad Bin Khalid Al-Zaby, and Abdullah Bin Shareek Al-Aamiry, from Sulaym Bin Qays, who has narrated the following:

Al-Hassanasws Bin Aliasws Praised Allahazwj and Extolled Himazwj, and said: “[9:100] And (as for) the foremost, the first of the Muhajirs and the Ansars, and those who followed them in goodness,” so if the former ones have a preference over those who came after them, similarly for Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws there is a preference over the former ones for being before the former ones.

واستجاب لرسول اهللا ) أجعلتم سقاية الحاج وعمارة المسجد الحرام آمن آمن باهللا واليوم اآلخر وجاهد في سبيل اهللا: (وقاله حمزة سيد الشهداء وقد آان قتل معه آثير، فكان حمزة سيدهم بقرابته من ثم عم. صلى اهللا عليه وآله وواساه بنفسه

. رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله

And said: “[9:19] What! do you make (one who undertakes) the giving of drink to the pilgrims and the guarding of the Sacred Masjid like him who believes in Allah and the latter day and strives hard in Allah's way?”, and Heazwj Answered the Messenger of Allahazwj and made himasws (Aliasws) to be equal to none but himselfsaww.

Then hissaww uncle Hamzaas is the Chief of the Martyrs and a lot of people had been killed along with himas, so Hamzaas was their Chief due to hisas nearness to the Messenger of Allahsaww.

وذلك لمكانهما وقرابتهما من رسول اهللا صلى اهللا . ثم جعل اهللا لجعفر جناحين يطير بهما مع المالئكة في الجنة حيث يشاءصلى اهللا عليه وآله على حمزة سبعين صالة من بين الشهداء الذين استشهدوا وصلى رسول اهللا . عليه وآله ومنزلتهما منه

.معه

Then Allahazwj made two wings for Ja’faras for himas to fly around with the Angels in the Paradise wherever heas so desires to. And that is both their place, and their nearness to the Messenger of Allahsaww, and their status from himsaww. And hesaww recited seventy Prayers for himas, although there were (other) martyrs that were martyred along with himas.

. عليه وآلهوجعل لنساء النبي صلى اهللا عليه وآله فضال على غيرهن لمكانهن من رسول اهللا صلى اهللا

And Heazwj Made for the wives of the prophetsaww to have preference over others due to their place from (connection with) the Messenger of Allahsaww.


بتناه إبراهيم عليه وفضل اهللا الصالة في مسجد النبي صلى اهللا عليه وآله بألف صالة على سائر المساجد إال المسجد الذي ا.السالم بمكة، لمكان رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله وفضله

And Allahazwj Preferred the Prayer in the Masjid of the Prophetsaww over a thousand Prayers in the rest of the Masjids, except for the Masjid which Ibrahimas built at Mecca, due to its place (connection) with the Messenger of Allahsaww and its preference.

اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد آما صليت (: قولوا: وعلم رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله الناس الصلوات، فقال.)على إبراهيم وآل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد

And the Messenger of Allahsaww taught the people, the greeting (Salawaat), so hesaww said: ‘You should say, ‘Our Allahazwj, Send greetings upon Muhammadsaww and the Progenyasws of Muhammadsaww just as You azwj Sent upon Ibrahimas and the Progeny of Ibrahimas, for You azwj are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious’.

.فحقنا على آل مسلم أن يصلي علينا مع الصالة فريضة واجبة من اهللا

For ourasws rights upon every Muslim is that he should send greetings upon usasws along with the Prayer as a necessary Obligation from Allahazwj.

. وحرم الصدقات عليه وحرمها علينا، آرامة أآرمنا اهللا وفضيلة فضلنا اهللا بهاوأحل اهللا لرسوله الغنيمة وأحلها لنا،

And Allahazwj Made it Permissible for Hisazwj Messenger the war booty and Made it to be Permissible for usasws, and Prohibited the charity to himsaww and Made it to be Prohibited for usasws, an honour which Allahazwj has Honoured usasws with, and a فضيلة‘

أول من يرد على النبي صلى اهللا عليه وآله يوم القيامة) 95(

THE FIRST ONE TO RETURN TO THE PROPHETsaww ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

إن أول هذه : سمعت سلمان يقول: األسناد عن سليم، قالابن شهرآشوب في المثالب عن محمد بن خشيش عن التميمي بى ع ر ى (األمة ورودا على نبيها أولها إسالما علي بن أبي طالب، وإن خراب هذا البيت على يدي رجل من ولد فالن

Ibn Shahr Ashobin Al-Masaalib, from Muhammad Bin Khasheysh, from Al-Tamimy by the chain from Sulaym, who said:

‘I heard Salmanar saying that, ‘The first one of this community to return to its Prophetsaww is the oneasws foremost in Islam, Aliasws Bin Abu Talibasws, and that the spoiling of this house is upon the hands of a man from the son of so and so ‘ ى ع ر ىع ب ابن

السنة والبدعة، الجماعة والفرقة) 96(

THE SUNNAH AND THE INNOVATION, THE GROUP AND THE SECT

سأل ابن الكوا عليا عليه السالم عن السنة والبدعة : لالمتقي الهندي في آنز العمال باألسناد عن سليم بن قيس العامري قا سنة محمد صلى اهللا - واهللا -السنة : يا ابن الكوا، حفظت المسألة فافهم الجواب: فقال عليه السالم. وعن الجماعة والفرقة

. الباطل وإن آثروا مجامعة أهل الحق وإن قلوا والفرقة مجامعة أهل- واهللا -عليه وآله والبدعة ما فارقها، والجماعة

Al-Mutaqi Al-Hindy in Kanz Al-A’maAl-by the chain from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Aamiry, who said:

‘Ibn Kawaa asked Aliasws about the Sunnah and the innovation, and about the group and the sect, so heasws said: ‘O Ibn Kawaa, you have raised the issues, so understand the answer. By Allahazwj the Sunnah is the Sunnah of Muhammadsaww, and the innovation is what is different from it, and the ‘والجماعة’ group – by Allahazwj – is the gathering of the people of the truth even though they may be a few of them, and ‘والفرقة

’ the sect is the gathering of the people of the falsehood even though they may be numerous’.

إخبار رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله عن مستقبل األمة) 97(

NEWS BY THE MESSENGER OF ALLAHsaww ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE COMMUNITY

حدثنا محمد بن عمر بن أبي : حدثنا عبيد، قال: حدثنا أبو أحمد، قال: بن سليمان الصنعاني في شرح األخبار قالمحمدأخبرنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أذينة عن أبان بن أبي عياش : حدثنا عبد القدوس بن إبراهيم بن مرداس، قال: مسلم، قال

اخلوا لي عن : رسول اهللا صلى اهللا عليه وآله دخلنا عليه فقال للناسلما ثقل: عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي عن سلمان قال.اقعد، يا سلمان إنك منا أهل البيت: فقام الناس وقمت معهم، فقال. أهل البيت

Muhammad Bin Suleyman Al-Sana’any in Sharh Al-Akhbaar, said, ‘Narrated to us Abu Ahmad, from Ubeyd, from Muhammad Bin Uma Bin Abu Muslim, from Abdul Qadous Bin Ibrahim Bin Mardaas, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bin Azina, from Abaan Bin Abu Ayyash, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, from Salmanar whoasws said:

‘When the illness of Messenger of Allahsaww worsened , we came up to himsaww, so hesaww said to the people: ‘Leave mesaww to be alone with the Peopleasws of the Household’. So the people arose, and I stood up along with them. Hesaww said: ‘Be seated, O Salmanar, youar are from usasws, the Peopleasws of the Household.

اإلخبار عن بني أمية وبني العباس ودولة أهل البيت عليهم السالم

يا بني عبد مناف، اعبدوا اهللا وال تشرآوا به شيئا فإنه لو قد أذن لي بالسجود لم أوثر عليكم : ثم قال. فحمد اهللا وأثنى عليه.أحدا

The news about the Clan of Umayya and the Clan of Abbas and the government of the Peopleasws of the Household

Hesaww Praised Allahazwj and Extolled Himazwj, then said: ‘O sons of Abd Manaafas, worship Allahazwj and do not associate anything with Himazwj, for had Heazwj Permitted prostrations to mesaww, Isaww would not have given anyone preference over you.

إني رأيت على منبري هذا اثني عشر آلهم من قريش، رجلين من ولد الحرب بن أمية وعشرة من ولد العاص بن أمية، . آلهم ضال مضل، يردون أمتي عن الصراط القهقرى

Isaww saw (in a dream) upon this Pulpit of minesaww, twelve (men), all of them from Qureish. Two men from the sons of Al-Harb Bin Umayya, and ten from the sons of Al-A’as Bin Umayya, all of them leading astray and having strayed, reverting mysaww community backwards from the Path’.

فاتقوا اهللا في عترتي أهل بيتي، فإن الدنيا لم تدم ألحد قبلنا وال :ثم قال. أما إن هلكتهم على يدي ولدك: ثم قال للعباس.تبقى لنا وال تدوم ألحد بعدنا

Then hesaww said to Al-Abbas: ‘But, they will be destroyed by the hands of your sons’. Then hesaww said: ‘So fear Allahazwj with regards to mysaww Family the Peopleasws of the Household, for neither did the world last for anyone before usasws, nor will it remain for anyone after usasws’.


.أما إنكم ستملكون بعدهم باليوم يومين وبالشهر شهرين وبالسنة سنتين. دولة الحق أبر الدول: ثم قال لعلي عليه السالم

Then hesaww said to Aliasws: ‘The government of the truth is the most righteous of the governments. As for youasws (The Peopleasws of the Household) will be ruling after them by two days for every one day (of theirs), and two months for every month (of theirs), and for two years for every one year (of theirs)’.

ستة لعنهم اهللا في آتابه

الزائد في آتاب اهللا، والمكذب بقدر اهللا، والمستحل من عترتي ما : ستة لعنهم اهللا في آتابه: ثم قال صلى اهللا عليه وآله. من أعز اهللا ويعز من أذل اهللاحرم اهللا، والتارك لسنتي، والمستأثر على المسلمين بفيئهم، والمتسلط بالجبروت ليذل

Then hesaww said: ‘Six have been Cursed in Hisazwj Book – The one who increases in the Book of Allahazwj, and the one who denies the Power of Allahazwj, and the one who makes it to be permissible about mysaww Family what Allahazwj has Prohibited, and the one who ignores mysaww Sunnah, and the one who monopolises the war booty to the Muslims, and the one who, by his compulsion, disgraces the one whom Allahazwj has Honoured, and honours the one whom Allahazwj has Disgraced’.

موقع الشيعة في الناس) 98(

POSITION OF THE SHIITES WITHIN THE PEOPLE

قلت ألمير : النعمان بن محمد التميمي المغربي في مناقب أمير المؤمنين عليه السالم عن سليم بن قيس الهاللي قال إن أهل بيتي يقطعوني وأوصلهم، ويحرموني فأعطيهم، ويكلموني وأعفو عنهم، ويشتموني :المؤمنين علي عليه السالم

Al-No’man Bin Muhammad Al-Tamimy Al-Magriby in Manaaqib Amir-ul-Momineenasws, from Sulaym Bin Qays Al-Hilaly, who said:

‘I said to Amir-ul-Momineen Aliasws that: ‘The people of my household cut off (relationships) with me but I keep connections with them, and they deprive me but I give to them, and they speak (bad) about me but I excuse them, and they insult me but I do not insult them’.

. عهدت الناس ورقا ال شوك فيه، وهم اليوم شوك ال ورق فيه: سالمفقال أمير المؤمنين علي عليه ال

Amir-ul-Momineenasws Aliasws said: ‘The people have been assigned to be leaves with no thorns in it, and they are, today, thorns with no leaves in it’.

صنف يصلونا، وصنف : شيعتنا ثالثة أصناف. م غرضك ليوم فقركوله: فكيف أصنع، يا أمير المؤمنين؟ قال: فقلت.أولئك األولياء األخيار الحكماء العلماء، وطوبى لهم وحسن مآب. يصلون الناس، وصنف والوا ولينا وعادوا عدونا

I said, ‘So how should I behave, O Amir-ul-Momineenasws?’ Heasws said: ‘And to them is your need on the day of your poverty. Ourasws Shiites are of three types – A type, who come to usasws, and a type who go to the people, and a type who befriend ourasws friends and are inimical to ourasws enemies. These are the friends, the best ones, the wise ones, the knowledgeable ones, and Blessings are for them and a beautiful journey’.
