52+ YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP

One of the many things I love about SFPL's collaboration with SFUSD librarians is having a partner librarian at a local branch. I love having another librarian available to support our research projects, community outreach endeavors, and to help connect our families to the public library.

Our partner librarians have given parent workshops, have worked at a button making center during a storytime event, and are always at the ready for the next query! Thank you SFPL for being such a wonderful vibrant part of our school libraries!

Maureen Sullivan, Teacher Librarian, Dolores Huerta Elementary School

KIDQUAKE

I feel I say this every year, but I think this one was one of our best ever!

It was so gratifying to see every seat filled in all four assemblies. And we simply could not do it without the 2018 Library of the Year. Thank you all for your exemplary work.

Summer Dawn Laurie, Kidquake Coordinator
