SELCRA Golf Outing (Platinum Sponsor) SELCRA’s Golf Outing has been a community favorite event for over 20 years! Put Thursday, June 7th, 2012, on

your calendar, grab some friends and join your fellow community leaders, neighbors and business people on the

greens at the Majestic! The SELCRA Golf Outing raised the bar on funding in 2011 registering 115 golfers and

raising $6,500! That’s 40 more golfers and $4,000 more than 2010! As we focus our efforts on having another

banner year in 2012, we would like to invite you to join us in supporting community recreation programs!

Target Market— Youth sports supporters, school officials, boards of directors, local area business people, and residents from the Brighton area. Exposure— 130+ golfers, pre and post event publicity, information on website and email newsletter. Publicity in our brochure that is distributed to 30,000 homes in Livingston County. Timeframe— Advertising begins at least 3 months ahead of time and continues until the date, which fall on the 3rd Thursday in June. Daddy Daughter Dance Presented by Green Oak Village Place

SELCRA has been offering this annual community wide dance for over 20 years and it has continued to grow. This one night event is filled with dancing, balloons, refreshments, laughter and a lifetime of memories. As a sponsor you have the opportunity to become part of a longstanding and memorable community event and one of the largest Daddy Daughter Dance’s in the state of Michigan Target Market— Girls ages 3-15 and heads of households ages 25-55. Exposure— Over 1500 in attendance plus exposure in our print publication distributed to 30,000 homes in Livingston County, pre-event publicity and social media. Timeframe— Publicity begins in September and run until program date, usually the weekend prior to Valentines Day. Event Highlights: Photograph Specials-A photography company will be set up to take pictures of the fathers and daughters. Balloon Drop—Three nets containing over 3000 balloons combine are opened at the end of the night showering dads and daughters with balloons. Movie Screen— Our inflatable movie screen shows photographs of everyone who attended in previous years during the dance. Desserts and Refreshments– Guests will be treated to cookies, treats, custard samples, punch and coffee. Corsage Specials-SELCRA and a local florist partner to offer a little added touch to make the night extra special. Corsages may be special ordered through the local florist SELCRA partners with for the dance. Goody Bags– Each girl receives a little extra at the end of the night, a bag filled with coupons from local busi- nesses, special gifts and more. Movies at the Mall Presented by Green Oak Village Place The movies take place from mid June through August. Every Saturday around dusk a family friendly movie will be shown on SELCRA’s giant inflatable blow up movie screen. Families can bring chairs to sit in and snacks to munch on while enjoying the movie. What better way to enjoy a summer evening then with a movie outdoors on the big screen. Target Market— Families with children ages 5-12. Exposure— Company name in our publication distributed to over 30,000 homes in Livingston County. Exposure at the movies with a banner or DVD commercial and over 80 people in attendance over an 8 week time frame. Timeframe— Publicity begins in May and run through the end of August. Program Highlights: Family Friendly Movie– Each week a new release is shown. Some weeks can be theme weeks and a movie will be shown coordinating to that particular theme. Commercials– Companies will have a chance to show a commercial real before each movie. If a company has a DVD commercial or message it will be played 10 minutes prior to the movie.

Family Camp Out Presented by Green Oak Village Place Camping is one of America's greatest outdoor pastimes and now you can enjoy it at Brighton Recreation Area! Join SELCRA for an evening of family fun camping and fun. Campers will be able to enjoy a climbing tower, geocaching, fishing, sand volleyball, horseshoes, kids crafts & games, miles of hiking and biking trails and of course - marshmallow roasting, s’mores, campfire songs and acoustic music! Campers will also ‘rise and shine’ to a sponsored campers breakfast! Families who do not want to camp overnight can still participate in Friday’s activities! Target Market— Families from the Brighton area. Exposure— 50 + families and 200+ park visitors, and program staff. Your name is placed in our publication that is sent out to 30,000 homes in Livingston County. Timeframe— Publicity begins in April and runs until program date of July 22, 2011. Program Highlights: Climbing Tower and Adventure Recreation — Campers can live the outdoor adventure by climbing a twenty –five foot tall climbing tower and also fishing and kayaking in the Huron River! Bounce Houses — Children will have fun bouncing around in these large inflatables. Bon Fires and Marshmallow Roasting— Everyone loves a bonfire! Music, s’mores and activities will bring the campers together for an evening of special entertainment! Breakfast— Breakfast will be provided to all overnight campers courtesy of local restaurants and businesses!

Walk Michigan Presented By Green Oak Village Place

SELCRA has paired up with the Michigan Recreation, Park Association (MRPA), and Green Oaks Village Place for Walk Michigan program 2012. Walk Michigan is a noncompetitive program that started in 1985. The goal of the program is to encourage Michiganders to walk their way to fitness, while enjoying local parks, trails and recreation resources. Last year almost 13,000 miles were walked throughout Michigan by more than 6,230 participants. Participants will walk on designated Walk Michigan days and log the number of hours they have walked. The person with the most hours at the end of the time period will win the trip for two to the Labor Day Bridge Walk. Target Market— Children Ages 2-10 and their families. Exposure— Over 150 in attendance, pre-event publicity in brochure distributed to 30,000 homes in Livingston County, flyers and social media. Timeframe— Publicity begins in December and runs until the event at the end of March. Program Highlights: Weekly Walking Days– Individuals will record how far they walked on that particular day and turn in their total miles at the end of the program. Your company information will be displayed at all scheduled walks during the summer.

Mackinaw Island Labor Day Bridge Walk—The trip for two includes a four day/three night stay on Mackinaw Island at beautiful Mission Point Resort and the privilege to walk the Mackinaw Bridge with the Governor and thousands of walking enthusiasts on Labor Day. The trip also comes with free continental breakfast on Saturday and Monday, full course dinner Saturday evening, Brunch at Audie’s following the Bridge Walk, a round trip boat ticket, tour of historic Fort Mackinac, and horse-drawn taxi from the dock to the resort.

New Events/Programs

Green Oak Village Place Proud Supporter of the SELCRA Teen Advisory Council (STAC)

In an effort to improve on teen programming, SELCRA has developing its first ever SELCRA Teen Advisory Council! (STAC). Teens participating in this organization will have the opportunity to get involved in programs and events that focus on social and recreational programs, community awareness and service, education, leadership , teamwork, fund raising, and recruitment. This group of young individuals will also help SELCRA plan and organize several programs, activities, and events geared towards their peers.

Target Market— Teenagers (7th - 12 Graders) Exposure— Over 20 members and over 300 in attendance/event, pre-event publicity in brochure distributed to 30,000 homes in Livingston County, flyers and social media. Timeframe— The council meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Teen events are year around. Program Highlights: Mystery Trips– The Teen Advisory Council (STAC) has planned three (3) mystery trips this summer. What are mystery trips? They are pre-planned trips that you have no idea where you are going. Everyone will be given clues of the trip, details of what to bring/wear and that’s it!

Teen Road Rally - This event will take place at the Green Oak Village Place Mall. Teams of 4-6 will compete for road rally glory! Participants will be given a list of tasks to fulfill in the allotted time. Teams will traverse the Green Oak Village Place Mall on foot armed with only their list and a digital camera. This event is sure to get the adrenaline flowing! Food will be provided at the end of the night. STAC Dodgeball Tournament - Duck, Dip, Dive & Dodge at the first ever SELCRA Dodgeball Tournament! You played it on the school yard and now it’s time to play it with us! Teams can consist of 6 to 10 players, with 6 being on the court at one time. Your team will play a guaranteed minimum of 2 games. The top teams will advance to the playoffs! Each player receives a tournament T-shirt, first and second place prizes will be awarded, along with the team sporting the best uniform! All proceeds will help benefit the SELCRA Teen Advisory Council, which provides teen programs and events for the Greater Brighton Area.

Summer Smash -Teen-A-Palooza - Join SELCRA for the 2nd Annual SELCRA Summer Smash - Teen-A-Palooza! We've switched things up this year, and are now turning this event into a teen battle of the bands competition! Sign your band up now! Not in a band? Bring your friends, and enjoy live music from local youth bands. There will also be a variety of other activities to choose from including water balloon launchers, airbrush tattoos, inflatables’ and much more! Partnership Agreement

I hereby make this partnership for the payment/services stated in this document between the Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority and the Green Oak Village Place Mall/Redico Corporation for the programs/services on the dates provided. I also certify that the information on the agreement is true and that I have read and agree to abide by the partnership agreement terms. I further agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority or Green Oak Village Place Mall/Redico, its officers, agents and em-ployees from and against all loss or expense (including costs and attorney fees) by reason of liability imposed by law upon either party, its officers, agents and employees for dam-ages because of bodily injury, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, or an account of damage to property including loss of use thereof, arising out of for inconsequence of the performance of this contract, whether such injuries to persons or damage to property is due or claimed to be due to the negligence ei-ther party, its officers, agents and employees, excepting only such injury or damage as shall have been occasioned by the sole negligence of either party, its officers, agents and employees.
