22.0 percent of Utahns reported arthritis.• Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders (14.0 percent) • Hispanics/Latinos (18.8 percent)

6.4 percent of Utahns reported diabetes. • Prevalence rate of diabetes higher among special populations

• Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders (7.0 percent) • Hispanics/Latinos (9.7 percent)

Among Utahns who reported diabetes, 50.1 percent also reported having arthritis.

Alliance Community Services (ACS)

Hispanics account for 10% of the population over 20 years of age, which makes it the largest minority group in Utah

Subsequently, Spanish is the second most common language in Utah

Organization with a focus exclusively on the Hispanic/Latino population

ACS has been serving Hispanics since 2002
