Passive - Use

We only use the passive when w e are interested in the object or when we do not know w hocaused the a ction.

E ample: Appointments a re required in such cases .We can only form a passive sente nce from an active sentence w hen there is a n object in the activesentence.

How to form a passive sentence when an active sentence is given:- object of the "active" se ntence becomes subject in the "passive" se ntence- subject of the "active" se ntence becomes "object" in the "passive" se ntence" (or is left out)
