What is the active voice?

Active voice is a style of writing that puts the subject at the beginning of the sentence, followed by an action,

and then the object that receives the action. The subject is the doer of the action.

Passive voice is a style of writing that puts the object at the beginning of the sentence and makes it the subject,

followed by an action, and then the subject becomes the agent preceded by the preposition “by”. The subject is

the receiver of the action.

What do active & passive voices look like?

Active Voice Form: Subject + main verb + object +..... Passive Voice Form: Subject + helping verb (be) +past participle + preposition ”by” + object +....
