The Patenting Accelerator Program (PAP) will enable your Research & Development team to systematically identify concepts that can be patented successfully.
As part of the engagement, Innomantra assists the team in using the Functional Innovation (FI) approach to identify insights and to generate new product ideas. At various phases of the engagement Innomantra also provides the team with relevant patent and market research to help identify patenting opportunities and white spaces. The project duration ranges from 2 to 5 months depending on the scope and complexity of the engagement.

Functional Innovation = Design Thinking + Systems Thinking
The Functional Innovation Methodology (FI) is an integrated approach to creative ideation
which brings together Design Thinking and Systems Thinking. The FI process involves the
following four steps: Decomposition, Exploration, Ideation and Implementation.
FI developed out of an Innomantra research study that involved analyzing more than 30,000
innovations. The FI approach has been used by several leading companies to innovate
systematically on their products and processes.
