The Explore Option in the Global Health Pathway

• For UCSF medical students without an official GH Pathway commitment

• Supports students investigating GH through short-term clinical or research work (1 to 3 months)

• Usually choose research in summer after first year• Additional opportunities (especially clinical) during the

elective periods of 4th yearAll such students who seek funding, credit, or plan

research should see a GH advisor

Curriculum Ambassador Bridges Program: GOALS

• Provide an 8-week summer lab to test out new ideas and structures for the UCSF Bridges Curriculum.

• Immerse students in workplace learning experiences in order to provide real-time input to the Bridges design process.

• Engage and support students, faculty, and staff to identify needs of the systems in which they are working in order to design new learning experiences and assessment tools.

• ~15 Ambassadors, in teams of 2-4, will work with team on project, and liaise with Bridges design groups
