The Secrel lnner O r d e r R i t u a l s o f T h e G o l d e n Daw n 17Knowledge lectures, and these varied according to the knowledge andtemperament of those in charge. Whare Rawas no exception, though thesepapers were hardly more t han adequate. The Correspondence Coursecovers more detailed work on the G.D. Tarot (some 1200 pages on thisalone), as wen as further investigations of many of its other teachings. These teachings have been enlarged to cover newer concepts in thoughtthat are presently evolving. The course was intended to cover the old OuterOrder study curriculum with Tarot, Talismanic work and Geomancy thatwas previously Inner Order material, but now be ing taught in the Outer. One of the major differences between the Whare Ra 5=6 course and thatof the Thoth Hermes, was that inthe latter the four subgrades of the 5=6were reintroduced. The Tarot and Talismanic study (not Consecration)were brought down to the Outer Order levels, as were the color scales.Regardie described the 5=6 papers of the Golden Dawn as, IIA wealth ofmaterial with virtually no starting or finishing point which the Z.A.M. isswamped with, and it's sink or swim." At Thoth Hermes we came to thesame conclusion.Enochiana isa prime example of this, and when one skryedthe varying squares there was no order to work form. Newer lectures weredrawn up, where one worked through a series of progressive stages whichextended not only to the Tablets but to the Z-2 rituals as well. Regardie'sA d d e n d u m t o t h e C o n c o u r s e o f F o r c e swas also adopted with the author's blessing,as part of the 5=6 course. (Part One of the Addendum is analogous toMathers' paper, "The Knowledge of the Ritual of the Twelve Gates inSkrying and Travelling in the Spirit Vision; Answering to the Diagram ofthe Table of the Shewbread" which was part of the old G.D. PracticusAdeptus Minor Curriculum. I frankly doubt ifMathers could have done abetter job of it than Regardie. Infact, another three parts were drafted upwhich included practical uses of the Angels of the Bonorum and theShewstone, and the Holy Table.In1986, the three Chiefs of Thoth Hermes chartered the Horus Templeof the Golden Dawn Foundation in the U.S. as an independent body , andpromoted the Chief of-the Horus Temple (who was a long time friend andstudent of Regardie) to the rank of 6=5.
