EXTENDED BUSINESS LINES
12
As Learfield Sports and athletic departments work together to maximize our partnership, new, complimentary opportunities may
become available. Learfield has extended its core business to support many of these opportunities and add value to our university
partners by providing support in the fields of brand licensing, official athletic websites and digital services, in-venue digital displays,
concessions, and ticket sales solutions.
Working in concert with our sponsorship teams, Learfield Sports is able to create new and creative opportunities that span across
multiple platforms and audiences with its university partners.
DIGITALLearfield acquired SIDEARM
Sports, the leading digital platform
in the college athletics. SIDEARM
Sports provides over 800 collegiate
athletic programs with
customizable web, social media,
design, and mobile content
services.
SIDEARM Sports provides an
easy-to-use interface, allowing
schools to customize their digital
content and presence. Aligning
multi-media and promotion rights
with a digital provider offers a
significant improvement in service
capabilities, fan engagement, and
revenue potential for Learfield’s
University partners.
TICKETINGTicket sales represents one
of the most important revenue
components of any athletic
department and having fans in the
seats means more revenue, a more
competitive atmosphere, and a
stronger brand.
Learfield provides professional
ticket sales teams that increase
revenues, fill athletic venues, and
build life long team loyalties.
LICENSING Learfield Sports has acquired Licensing
Resource Group and Strategic Marketing
Affiliates, forming Learfield Licensing
Partners to provide schools with a suite
of licensing services, including
trademark, retail, and brand
management. Learfield Licensing
Partners has extensive experience in the
brand licensing space and manages the
licensing programs of over 550
universities around the nation, providing
unmatched perspective over the
industry.
In combination with the multimedia
rights, a relationship with Learfield
Licensing Partners provides the ability
to pursue opportunities that are not
possible if separate, such as integrated
retail programs and market activations,
driving increased revenue for Learfield’s
University partners and increased
brand marketing.
CONCESSIONSLevy Restaurants and Learfield
Sports formed a joint venture
dedicated to linking sponsorship
to food and beverage in order to
create the best experience for the
facilities, sponsors, and fans of
all sports.
Merging the strengths of the
companies maximizes the power of
aligning marketing and promotional
capabilities with illustrious food
experiences developed exclusively
for and with our properties’ fans. It
also allows for fully integrated and
thoughtful implementation of
sponsorships, key to the potential
of this “never before available in
college athletics” approach.
IN-VENUE DIGITAL DISPLAYLearfield Sports acquired ANC
Sports, one of the leading providers
of video displays, in-venue
sponsorship platforms, digital
signage and other technology
systems for sports venues,
transportation hubs, and retail
facilities. Producing the nation’s
largest HD center-hung scoreboard
for the Cleveland Cavaliers,
and other clients like Penn State
and Pocono Raceway, ANC is
highly regarded in the college
marketplace.

partners great in-venue experience
enhancement as well as additional
ways for sponsors to connect with
fans, driving additional revenue.
