We mainly concentrated on the Lazo Nature Reserve in the vicinity of Kievka and Koreyskaya Pad’ on the East, the Gornotaezhnoe Field Station on the North, Vostok and Andreevka Bays on the South.

We collected in Lazo Nature Reserve because little has been collected from there and the biota of the eastern slopes of the Sikhote-Alin’ Mountains is known to be highly diverse

Faunas of the Vostok Bay and Andreevka Bay were sampled because they are enriched by the introduction of subtropical species from China, Korea and Japan

Numerous specimens of Kasumiphylus kyushuensis (Linnavuori) were taken from Pinus sibirica

A variety of mirids, including two species of Europiella, were collected from Artemisia gmelinii

Pilophorus choii Josifov was collected from Ulmus spp
