Software Installation: Load PBX SMDR SYSTEM CD-ROM into computer’s CD-ROM drive. The Installation wizard will automatically run, and walk you through the installation process. Remember to restart your computer to complete installation.

Enter your “Operator ID” and “Password” in the dialogue box, then click [OK] button to log in the PBX SMDR System. (The default for “Operator ID” is “ADMIN”, and “ password ” is “ 88888 ”.)

BiIll.mdb This is the main Bill file that can store the bill data of the latest 30~365 days.

(Default is 90 days) Bill2003-01.mdb This bill file stored the bill data during the month

Item Description Account Enter an account, bills of the account will be displayed. Username Enter a user name, bills of the user will be displayed. Physical Ext Enter an extension number, bills of this extension will be

displayed. Dept. Enter a department name, bills of this department will

be displayed. TRK Enter a TRUNK code, bills of the TRUNK will be

displayed. Auth Code Enter a user’s password, bills of the user will be

displayed. If not, all the bills will be displayed. Group Enter a workgroup name, bills of this workgroup will be

displayed. Dial Number Enter a phone number of outgoing call, bills of this

number will be displayed. Duration>= Enter a call duration time(HH:MM:SS), bills of less than

COM Port Select the COM Port that is connected to the PBX. Baud Rate Select the speed that is according to the PBX. Verify Ways to verify the bits Bits To select data bits - 7bits or 8bits Stop bit To select stop bit length - 1bit or 2bits Bill Data Source

Bill Data Source: 0: Data from PBX. (1: Data Buffer. 2:File)

Click this button to detect the Raw Bill data transmitted from the PBX. (Note: The window will display the raw data transmitted from the PBX 20 seconds later after the incoming/ outdoing calls are hanged up.)

Stop Stop to detect the raw data.

Refresh To clear the data that are displayed in the windows of Raw Bill and character information.

Print To print the raw data that are displayed on the window.

Save Raw File Save the raw data that are displayed on the window.

Select the Call Duration Type for Raw Bill. 0:No displaying duration time (but showing ending time) 1:Displaying duration time; 2:Displaying total seconds;3:MMM(second x6); 4:Displaying duration time at beginning time position.

Inc Exch Ext Trk

Select whether you want to exchange the location of Ext with that of TRK for incoming call bill.

BCD Code Select whether the raw data transmitted from PBX is BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) code or not.

Feedback Cyc (s)

Set a time (seconds) for system to transmit a feedback character/symbol to PBX after system receives raw PBX data.

Feedback Enter a character/symbol that will be transmitted to PBX for notice once system receives PBX raw data.

Note: You need to select PBX Model again after your PBX Parameters Setting has been completed.

Max rows of bill-monitor

Set the maximum rows for bill monitor (The scroll will appear if the height of the rows exceeds the screen.)

Filter duration > Enter a value (minutes) for duration time. When the duration time is longer than this value, the call bill will not be listed on Bill files. (For example, co-line has been locked out and fails to hang up.)

Transfer Charge Mode

To select Transfer Charge Mode: 0:Charge caller;1:Charge third party; 2:Charge both caller and thirty party.

□ Speedup bill handling

If checked, system will speed up Bill files to be stored in your hard disk.

□ Allow run multi Logon.exe

If checked, system will run for 2 sets of PBX SMDR information.

□ Hide Hotel- related options

If checked, system will hide all the functions that are related with hotel options.

□ Refresh COM PORT

If checked, system will reset COM PORT to prevent PBX SMDR Port from stopping transmitting raw data.

Appendix 2. How to Make Enquiry through Network

1. Network System Requirement:

● The folder of the Server computer that has been installed with the PBX SMDR SYSTEM must be set as Full Control in Share.

● The Client computer needs the same software (PBX SMDR SYSTEM) version as the Server computer’s.

● The Client computer need not to install the Software Keypro. ● Double-click [Networking Neighbor] on desktop to connect with Server. ● Select the Client.exe file from the PBX SMDR SYSTEM folder (the folder

has been set to be Full Control in Share) of the Server computer. ● Copy its shortcut to your computer’s (Client’s) desktop.

2. Inquiry through Network

● Now, double-click “Shortcut Client “ Icon on desktop to start program.

● Once the program is started, the screen will appear a dialogue box that prompts “ Network Client (Client.exe) is worked as client or demo, can’t receive bill data! “.
