PerformaNces & sPeciaL gUeststhe star-studded 15th year kickoff event and luncheon was emceed by ludacris and included special performances and appearances by usher, Josh Kaufman, Vedo, Blake shelton, sugar Ray leonard, Jermaine Dupri, Rico love, the WNBA Atlanta Dream players, and Allen Rossum. Special video congratulatory messages were featured from: President William J. Clinton, scooter Braun, Robert Deniro, Alicia Keys, and Pharrell Williams.

1999: • New Look founded by Usher Raymond.2000 to 2004: • New Look partners with Make-a-Wish Foundation, provides funding to support youth foster care and service programs.2005: • Camp New Look launches in Atlanta, becoming New Look’s 1st chapter.• Four pillars (Talent, Education, Career, Service) Established.• September, in response to Hurricane Katrina, Project Restart Concert raised financial resources to provide 1000 youth & families from New Orleans with rent and utility assistance.2007: • Los Angeles becomes 2nd New Look chapter.2008: • Mogul in Training (MIT) program officially launches.• Milwaukee becomes 3rd New Look Chapter.• August, New Look nationally launches ‘I Can’t But You Can’ Voter Registration Campaign. Youth registered over 17,000 new voters nationally!

2009: • February, Usher & Youth, James Harris, testify before the Education & Labor Committee’s Congressional Hearing in support of the Edward M. Kennedy, Serve America Act, resulting in nearly $6 billion in funding for schools and nonprofits.• Detroit becomes New Look’s 4th Chapter.• New York becomes New Look’s 5th Chapter.• Powered by Service Campaign launched at the Clinton Global Initiative with a goal to mobilize 5 million young leaders to service.• New Look conducts training and service in Manila, Philippines.2010: • New Look issues Call to Action for Haiti Relief to youth internationally, receiving responses from youth in 17 countries and resulting in UNL sending a Medical Mobile Clinic to Delmas, Haiti as a gift to Mayor Wilson Jeudy.• August, First annual World Leadership Conference and Awards held with 2700 guests, including President Clinton, Ciara & Justin Bieber.

2011: • New Look Youth Leaders conduct international PBS training in Kenya, London and Vancouver.• New Look launches PBS tour in 5 US Cities via Usher’s OMG Tour.• 2nd Annual World Leadership Conference and Awards honors Ted Turner and Ford Motor Company2012: • New Look conducts PBS training in South Africa. • New Look Partners with Accenture to digitally enhance program efforts through new online platform, iLead.2013: • New Look partners with the Georgia Department of Education to create Music Industry Leadership 101. • President’s Circle Luncheon honors The Coca-Cola Foundation and Ed Roland 2014: • New Look Celebrates 15 Years of Service! • President’s Circle Luncheon honors: Mayor Kasim Reed, Kami Luigs and the GE Foundation, Jasmine Pollard, Mary-Pat Hector, Cory Nettles & Shawn Wilson.
