Who are we?
We are a volunteer group composed of faculty, staff, and students who have an interest in participating in PCC's sustainability mission and vision.
Our Mission: We are committed to integrating sustainable practices
into every facet of the college. This includes facility operations, curriculum, professional development, and the student environment
Our Vision: Initiate and support resources, programs, and events
that increase awareness and participation in activities that increase resource efficiency and environmental responsibility.
What is sustainability?
Global View:Brundtland Report Paraphrased - 1987: - "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Substantiated reduction in energy use per square foot. – Resources are shrinking but school population and use is expanding!
Support the completion of the “STARS” report-AASHE
Involvement in future building design and improvements
