RAIL SHUNTING SOLUTION, VENICE PORT (IT)Port Solution:SIMA is an integrated system to manage and monitor in real time all the phases concerning the maneuvers (“shunting”) and positioning (uncoupling and coupling) of railway wagons inside the port area, through locomotives. The system supports and manages unique maneuver.
CustomerVenice Port Authority, through its operator in charge of shunting ERF S.p.A.
Synoptic view info: rails, with state employment locomotives (pushing or pulling) together with carts, tugs and convoys, each with their status (download, upload, breakdown, etc.) operations carried out (recently, in progress or imminent).

IOT PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE
DBA Smart Platform uses a distributed approach using the paradigm of micro architectures services.The architectures of the paradigm to micro services allows to realize a distributed system, scalable, modular, multi-tenant and easily maintainable.

Sensors network nodes are of four different types (water, air, weather, noise). Solar panels render each node energetically independent and connected through Ethernet or wireless.
The positions of the sensors have been identified after an analysis of the logistic activities occurring in the port.
