• The following slides illustrate how to get into the PCS, find control items and edit parameters

• If you signed up to the course, your login has been changed to load modules needed to run the PCS user interface to operate of a future shot file

• You have not been added to the group which would allow you to edit the NEXT shot or to stop and start the PCS

• The PCS system can be reached only from 3 terminals in the control room and from PCS developers stations which have the proper firewall permissions

•After editing you must apply to make the changes take effect

•The switch from the discharge shape category to isoflux is controlled by the system category separately for each PF coil•The handoff is made smoothly by ramping the isoflux output request up while ramping the discharge shape output request down Vout=S*Viso +(1-S)*Vds
