REVIEW

By Cubby on May 5, 2016 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase I've purchased each book inthe Women's Murder Club series. All were a great read, with good writing, and we learnedsomething new about each of the ladies and their relationships with each other, as well as somepeeks into their lives. That is, up until 14. The story dragged a bit, focused mostly on Lindsey, andI HATED the ending! I pre-ordered 15, thinking surely Patterson's and Paetro's exciting and pageturning writing would return. I am sad to say that it didn't. It almost seems as if someone else iswriting these books now, and they don't even know the characters! Entirely too much of Lindseyand Joe, in a situation that was hardly believable to those of us who have read each and everyinstallment. No mention of what was happening in the lives of the other ladies, and the club wasonly together a couple of times - with no brainstorming to solve the murder mystery! The Lindseyand Joe drama was even the subject of their get-together. And, another cliffhanger ending. HATEIT!! I truly hope that in 16, Patterson and Paetro will bring back the ladies - and their personalities!- that we've loved to read about, and knock off those endings! If it's not any better than 14 and 15,sadly, I may have to say a fond farewell to The Women's Murder Club series. Good. Need more ofthe club together though, May 20, 2016 By BaumanBookReviews Verified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: 15th Affair (Women's Murder Club) (Hardcover) So, of course I was superexcited when this book showed up at my door, because. Well. Lindsay Boxer is the best. So once Igot to read the book and realized that it was also another great installment in the Womens MurderClub series, I was a very happy reader. Lindsay has had to deal with a lot of stuff in the past, butnothing quite like this. Being followed around by highly dangerous men makes every move shemakes a risk. She has to constantly be aware of her surroundings and be ready to fight at anymoment. That, coupled with her distant husband, Lindsay has a hell of a time solving this case. Ifeel like as this series goes on, we see less and less of the Womens Murder Club actually beingtogether and interacting. I miss when there were more interactions between them because thecharacters have such great book chemistry together. I also liked that this book made Joe seemshady. I have never liked him. I am sure things will be back to normal for them in the next book, but I hope not. Overall, it was still a thrilling ride, and I never really guessed the twists until theywere revealed. 5/5 stars!
