Leonard Jones
Jones won a state team title in 1989-90 with Martez Williams, combing for 6 state titles each. He is now
a member of the NCAA Division III Hall of Fame. While at St. Thomas University, he ran indoor and
outdoor track while also playing basketball and football (in his two seasons on the football team he
averaged 30 years per catch as a receiver and 17 interceptions on defense). As a trach athlete, he
recorded 9 National titles indoor and outdoor.

-Triple jump: ’93, ‘94
Outdoor Div. III National Titles:
-Long jump: ’92, ‘93
He holds records with the most individual indoor national titles with 7 and is the only athlete at any
college level to have national titles in all three jumping events in a single year.
