• Mr. Jayaraman Raghuraman graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Bihar Institute of
Technology, Sindri , Dhanbad, in 1972. He completed his M.Tech Degree in Heat Power
Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1974.
• From 1974 to 1982 & 1982 to 1993, he worked in the Water Systems Group of Tata Consulting
Engineers, Mumbai. He was associated with 500 MW Trombay Thermal Power Station, 500
MW Tarapore Nuclear Power Plant and many industrial projects. He was responsible for
preparation of Basic Studies, Design Basis Reports, Specifications& Purchase
Recommendation for water based systems including Fire Fighting Systems.

engineered Remote Controlled Foam Monitor Protection of Oil Tanker Berth in Cochin port.

contracts ; under Kuwait National Petroleum Company , Mina Abdulla, he worked as piping
design engineer ; He set up a fire engineering division at Specialized Security Systems
Company and engineered many Fire Protection Systems contracts.
• From 2002 to 2003, he worked in the systems division of Newage Industries, Mumbai and
engineered many Fire Protection System contracts for buildings, industrial plants and refinery.
• From 2004 to 2009 he worked in E H S – Fire & Rescue Design Review Department at Jebel Ali
Port Office, DUBAI. This department is the Authority Having Jurisdiction for large scale
building projects developed by NAKHEEL group. Some of notable projects were the Jumeirah
Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall, ATLANTIS Palm Hotel, Dubai Maritime City.
• From 2009 to 2010, he was a visiting professor at the College of Fire Technology ,
