The conference established the Arab Diabetes Consensus Group ADCG
ADAC, PACD & ADCG
The American Diabetes Association collaborated with the conference and the Arab Diabetes Consensus Group ADCG in establishing many statements related to the status of diabetes in this area and were published in the ADA journals.
2002 Opening Lecture:
As of the year 2002 , the opening lecture of the conference was actually addressing the American Diabetes Association Clinical Practice Recommendations in the specific years , presented by the ADA President or another speaker from the ADA.
The Start:
The conference started on 1997 and maintained its position as the biggest diabetes event in the Arab countries.
Speakers:
The conference hosted 250+ of the most eminent international speakers along the 21 years.
Participants:
Received 30.000+ participants during the 21 years as this conference is already the biggest one not only in the Arab region but also in the whole Middle East area.
