The students were encouraged to inquire about spreadsheets. Based on the

information collected by them, a class discussion was held on the need, im-

portance and usage of spreadsheets. They were further introduced to MS

Excel. In the process, the students learnt the following:

Structure of the spreadsheets

Nomenclature of the cells

Navigation across various cells in the sheets

Formatting of cells

Sorting of selected data

Application of formulas for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and di-

vision

Completed Comic Strip Drawings

Introductory discussion on Henri Matisse, the artist

Students practised simple scale in three and four note pattern.

Rehearsals of previous songs were conducted.

Students were introduced a new song Ma Tujhe Salaam.
