INTRODUCTION

West Ham United has been awarded the highest status of a Category One Academy in The FA’s 2012 re-structuring of UK ‘Academy’ and ‘Centre of Excellence’ football.

Like other academies in England, the training activity behind the scenes at WHU is very secretive. At BSS this year, young players will have the opportunity to receive the training given to the best players in England.

Fifteen years after the famous Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst began their carrers at West Ham United, ‘THE ACADEMY’ as it has since become known has been under the direction of Tony Carr MBE. In recent years, theEngland team has almost relied on his apprentices – five of whom took the field for Chelsea and Manchester United in the 2008 Champions League final.

ELITE Residential Soccer Course in Phuket 2014

After Bangkok Soccer Schools successful 2012 team-tour to England to be trained by West Ham United FC Academy Coaches, an expanded team of WHU Coaches travelled to Bangkok in 2013 to spread thebenefits of genuine Academy coaching to more players

Taking this experience further we are now o�ering players the rare chance to bond with team matesand coaches alike in our 5 day Elite Residential Camp to be held in Phuket from the 7th to 11th July 2014

The coaching that the players will recieve will improve their ability and con�dence as players. The aim of this training camp is to inspire children who have aspirations within football, whether it be to play totheir highest possible ability, obtain a scholarship at a university or play professionally, to show them the level that they need to reach and assist them in attaining that level of play

Sessions will incorporate exercises, games and drills designed to challenge and train the player’s body and mind by Premier League Academy coaches from West Ham United FC

At West Ham United they pride themselves on creating players with style, creativity and teamwork and we at Bangkok Soccer Schools are proud to once again strengthen our relationship with this proud Academy

The Right Course

With 4 West Ham Academy coaches traveling to Phuket, we are limiting the numbers of players that can bene�t from this unique experience to only 64 players. A Bangkok Soccer School coach will assist oneWest Ham Academy coach at all times and each team of 2 coaches will be limited to 16 children to ensure the highest quality of training at all times during every session

MARK PHILLIPS Experienced player and manager, a devoted West Ham fan and

Coach to the Academy’s elder players. Mark has coached men and

boys at most levels through the grassroots and semi-professional

ranks. No stranger to coaching internationally either, he has

coached in Japan, Malaysia, and all over Europe in the past few

years to name just a few locations. Mark is currently the U17’sHead coach.

BOB GLOZIER

Known as Mr West Ham, experienced professional player for West Ham United before dedicating himself to coaching Academy boys of all ages. Bob’s career has benefited several clubs and schools in England, his knowledge shared among countless players. He has represented the Academy and delivered the British Council’s ‘Premier Skills’ courses to coaches and playersin several countries.

RICKY SIMONS An experienced player now devoted to both scouting for, and coaching West Ham’s Uniteds youngest players. Rickys dedicationto youth football in England has seen him coach and mange several squads, giving him a profound understanding of what the youngestplayers need to learn most and deeming him an asset to the academy

CARL WALKER An experienced player now devoted to coaching West Ham’s

youngest players. Carl has already impressed the Academy’s

directors, proving himself an enthusiastic, knowledgable coach

through the toughest grassroots ranks, educating and managing

youth teams to a high standard. Carl is currently the U8’s coachand a scout for this age group.

The Programme

We have worked hard to create a week of football coaching and activities to ensure that young players get the most from their stay with us. Player development will be hosted by our quali�edprofessional coaches with sessions and exercises to help players focus on key elements of the game. Technical workshops will look at the ideas and philosophy of the West Ham United Academy, and the key attributes we believe are necessary to become a ‘complete player’.

This will include a focus on the social, physical and psychological aspects needed by individual players. In addition we will provide essential information about diet and nutrition to help players perform to their maximum level.

The Menus

Food and nutrition is important for elite althetes. Thanyapuras restuarants will cater for all players needs with breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

We aim to inspire with a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet to both educate and fully fuel the playersthroughout their stay.

The team of chefs and caterers at Thanyapura have a great track record of serving deliciousand nutritious menus that provide players a healthy and well balance diet. The food is locallysourced and where possible organic. All the menus are based around three meals a day

Players with special dietary needs can be catered for. Please inform us beforehand.

The Experience

The beauty of the Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club venue lies in the excellence of it’s sporting facilities and the comfort of its residential provision. Young players will be able to enjoy its state of the art Astroturf sports pitches, and have use of its swimming pool and tennis courts and �tness centre

During our week of football coaching and technical workshops, the West Ham United coaches will focus on the key attributes needed for each player to maximise their potential

In addition, we will be organising activities for the evening so the fun continues once the players haveleft the pitch. There’ll be video nights, team bonding exercises, supervised trips o� campus sports and other exciting activities to help create the ultimate football coaching experience

The Home from Home

Outside of the coaching session with the West Ham Academy coaches, Bangkok Soccer Schools and Thanyapura sta� will be on hand at all times to take care of and supervise the children

Thanyapura provides a safe and secure onsite environment with quality accommodation

We aim to give players a memorable experience in an international environment which focuses on challenging and rewarding activities and we will provide regular feedback on progress to students

For many this will be the �rst time living away from home with di�erent people from around Thailand and further a�eld, so we will ensure we make children feel as comfortable and at ease as we can

After completion of this course we aim to have developed not only student’s footballing ability but also their independence, con�dence and teambuilding skills, and given them new goals and ambitions to pursue in life

After fresh air, good food, lots of activities and fun, children will return home healthy and refreshed. They will be able to look back on a time of fun, friendship and learning in a healthy, natural environment

There is 24 hour security and medical supervision provided and in an emergency a hospital is easily accessible. All rooms have wireless internet connections to ensure ease of communication with family members

The Terms and Conditions

Please take time to read the following terms and conditions. They are the basis of the contract between yourself and Bangkok Soccer Ltds (Bangkok Soccer Schools).

A contract will exist between us when we have taken your booking and required payment. You will then automatically receive a con�rmation/invoice detailing exactly what has beenbooked. If you think anything is incorrect please contact us straight away. All correspondence will be with the person named on the con�rmation invoice who accepts the following conditions on behalf of all participants. The contract is governed by the laws of Thailand. And any dispute will be dealt with under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.

Your �nal payment and travel ticketsThe balance of your account is payable not later than 15th June. If payment is not made by the due date, we reserve the right to advise you of the cancellation of your course and make a cancellation charge at the appropriate rate. Full payment must accompany bookings made within 6 weeks.

Changing your booking or travelIf after you have con�rmed your booking you wish to make any alterations, an administration charge of 3000 baht will be made per child. Any such amendments may be telephoned to Bangkok Soccer Schools in the �rst instance but must be con�rmed in writing immediately thereafter with the appropriate amount enclosed. However, if a major amendment is requested less than 6 weeks weeks prior to the starting date of the course, we reserve the right to treat your request as a cancellation and charge the appropriate cancellation fee as detailed below.In order that all our staff has the correct information we cannot accept additions or alterations to travel arrangements within 7 days of the commencement of the course.If we are forced to make changes Bangkok Soccer Schools will do its utmost to provide all of the arrangements that have been con�rmed, but must reserve the right to alter or cancel any activities, accommodation or other arrangements if operational, weather or other considerations so dictate.

Any complaintsIf there is any problem with the course, we want to put this right for you as soon as possible. Please ask your child to mention it to their coach or center manager straightaway. Alternativelywe will be pleased to make a phone available, so your child can speak with you if this is preferable. We would ask you to make immediate contact with either the center or Stuart Welham atBangkok Soccer Schools on +66 (0) 83 270 3337. If we have been unable to �nd a solution you have 28 days from the end of your course to write to us to explain your grievance.

Our responsibilityBangkok Soccer Schools accepts responsibility for those elements of the arrangements which are under our direct control and for the acts and/or omissions of our employers, agents, subcontractors and suppliers. Save as set up below no liability is accepted for personal illness, injury, or death. We do accept responsibility for any personal illness, injury or death which results from the negligence (as the words is understood in the English law) acts or omissions of any servant or agents, or any supplier working on our behalf in the provision of services or facilities to you and whilst acting in the scope of their employment.Please note however, that we do not accept liability for any air or sea carriers whose individual conditions of apply and are often subject to international agreements. We cannot be held responsible for the failure or inability of any equipment or computer program to recognize or correctly interpret or process any date as the true or correct date or to continue to function correctly beyond that date. We cannot be held responsible for the loss of enjoyment or additional expenses due to delays or any changes in any travel arrangements or other services whichare caused by circumstances amounting to force majeure, such as, but not limited to war, riot, and civil commotion, act of God, government action, epidemic, disease, natural disaster, industrial dispute, or adverse weather conditions. We can only be liable for the provision of special requests when we have con�rmed their availability in writing. Should you or any member of your party have the misfortune to suffer illness, injury or death during the period of your course arising as of an activity which does not form part of the arrangements made by us, we shall, where appropriate, and subject to our reasonable discretion and prior agreement, give you and your family any help that we can by way of initial assessment, including initial legal costs associated therewith, up to a maximum value of 10,000 per booking. You must request such assistance within 90 days from the date of the misadventure and in the event of there being a successful claim for costs against a third party or there being suitable insurance policies in force, the costs incurred by Bangkok Soccer Schools shall be recoverable from yourselves. We shall not be liable in respect of any loss of pro�ts, damage to goodwill or any type of special indirect or consequential loss even if such loss was reasonable, foreseeable or we have been advised of the possibility of you incurring the same.

Your responsibilityIt is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to advise Bangkok Soccer Schools of a child’s special diet and swimming ability in writing or by telephone at the time of booking. This information will be recon�rmed to you in our documentation. It is also the responsibility of the parent/guardian or other person acting in ‘loco parentis’ to fully advise Bangkok Soccer Schools when booking and then follow this up in writing of any illness, disability, social or behavioural problems that a junior currently has, or has recently experienced which might affect the youngster or other guests during the Bangkok Soccer Schools course. We may request written con�rmation from your doctor/teacher con�rming the suitability of the course for your child with particular reference to such considerations as social compatibility, physical access, successful participation and health and safety.We will naturally treat any personal information sensitively and respect con�dentiality. We are committed to making our courses as accessible to as many guests as possible, however very occasionally we may not be able to provide the service required and will refund any deposit paid.We reserve the right to exclude any person before or after course commencement if any important personal details have not been fully declared and/or their behavior is incompatible with the general enjoyment and wellbeing of other Collection would be entirely at the responsibility and expense of the person to whom any costs for damage and other expenses incurred would also be charged. No refunds will be considered for any children sent home for behavioural reasons.Behavior deemed inappropriate may include:• Under age buying and consumption of alcohol• Leaving the sight unless accompanied by a Bangkok Soccer Schools member of staff• Suspected involvement with illegal drugs• Use of alcohol• Smoking by any Juniors• Theft or illegal activities• Threatening behavior, bullying, offensive or insulting language to other guests, Bangkok Soccer Schools staff or any other person resident on centre.• Anti-social behavior affecting other guests enjoyment of their course• Leaving rooms during the night without a legitimate reason• Deliberately tampering with safety systems (e.g. CCTV, Fire Alarms)

Personal PropertyYour personal property including baggage is your own responsibility at all times, unless any loss or damage is due to our negligence or failure to carry out responsibility. Please note that an adventure course is not the place to bring mobile phones, expensive watches, jewelry, photographic equipment or other precious items which may not be covered by the Bangkok Soccer Schools insurance.

Data ProtectionThe personal information requested at the time of booking and on subsequent proformas is held on computer and required to allow our employees, agents, sub-contractors and suppliers to provide the promised course to our normal high standards. By providing us with the information required for booking you are deemed to accept the above and to have gained consent from the parents of all members of your party to disclose their details to us. At time of booking or requesting a brochure, whichever is sooner you will be asked if you wish to receive future marketing from Bangkok Soccer Schools and/or carefully selected 3rd parties. If you do not wish to receive these mailings please advise us at the time of booking or alternatively write to Bangkok Soccer Schools.

PhotographyWe regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. If you do not want your child to appear in these you must write to Bangkok Soccer Schools and inform our staff on arrival at the centre.
