Come to school on a Friday for this family event. We’ll read an Easter story and create something

special to take home. Just a reminder that all are invited and although teachers will facilitate activities, parent participation is required.

The Classroom BuzzDear Parents,Welcome to Spring! Looking forward to getting outside with the kids now that it is getting nicer outside. Despite the weather, March flew by with all we had going on at school. Thanks to all the Dads, Grandpas and Uncles that came to our Dad’s Day. The children had a great time showing you the classroom and playing games in the big room with Jeremiah from the Bullfrogs. Our field trip to the library was a success. Thanks to everyone that came along to chaperone. Dinosaur week was a huge hit this month as well. The children enjoyed doing the Dinosaur Boogie and The Dino Pokey. Thank you to everyone that came to conferences. I enjoyed discussing the children’s progress with you and showing you their dinosaurs. Coming up in April our themes will cover transportation, baby animals, baskets and bunnies, pizza and April showers. We have been working on hard on letter sounds. We are using a program called Zoo Phonics and each letter and sound has an action that goes along with it. As the weather gets nicer and it dries up outside I will take the children outside more often for outdoor play and learning. Hoping this week to maybe do some writing outside with chalk. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.

Family Zoo Trip!Friday, May 9

9:00 am-noon

Teachers will provide a fun Zoo Quiz to do as you visit the animals and there will even be prizes!

Bring your lunch and we’ll eat together at the picnic area near the zoo parking lot.

Cost is $5 for children, $7 for adults. Please note that although teachers will attend, this is a family event.

The original school calendar lists a Family Trip to Bay Beach. This Zoo trip will be replacing that event.
