Peartree Spring Primary School Newsleer — 06/12/2019 Visit to the Pantomime - The children in Years 1. 4 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed going to the theatre this week to watch the performance of Beauty and the Beast. A reminder that we are taking the Year 2, 3 & 5 children (whose parents have paid £10 and consented) to the pantomime on Wednesday 18th December. After School Clubs - A reminder that the After School Clubs (teacher-led) have now finished for this term. A flyer will be emailed home to parents at the beginning of next term, detailing clubs being offered for the Spring Term 2020. Premier Sports After School Clubs finish on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th December. Christmas Jumper Day (Friday 13th December) - Please see attached flyer for further information. Year 3 Christmas Performance - A reminder that the afternoon performance on Monday 9th December starts at 1.45pm and will finish at approximately 3.30pm. If you have a child/ren in other year groups, please collect them after the performance from: Squirrel Class - Reception, Years 1 and 2 Year 5 Resources Area - Years 4, 5 and 6 Head Lice - A reminder to parents that if your child has head lice, they will not be allowed in school until their hair has been treated. Children can return back to school once this has been done. Christmas Fayre/Market - Thank you to everyone who came to this event last week. A profit of £1845 was raised - the most we have ever made at a Christmas Fayre! Admissions (Under 11s 2020) - Process is now open for parents and carers of children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 to apply for a Primary School place for September 2020/21. All the information you need is available on the Hertfordshire County Council website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions. The closing date for applications is 15 January 2020 (please apply online). Parents are welcome to use the school office computer if required. Christmas Dinner - This is being served to children on Tuesday 17th December. Please make bookings / payments for Christmas dinner via www.schoolgateway.com NO LATER than Friday 13th December. There will be NO chilled, deli, street food or jacket potato options available on this day, therefore if your child does not wish to have either of the School Christmas Lunch options they will need to bring in a home packed lunch. Visit to the Pantomime - The children in Years 1. 4 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed going to the theatre this week to watch the

performance of Beauty and the Beast. A reminder that we are taking the Year 2, 3 & 5 children (whose parents have paid

£10 and consented) to the pantomime on Wednesday 18th December.

After School Clubs - A reminder that the After School Clubs (teacher-led) have now finished for this term. A flyer
