• There isn’t only one pedagogical model for elearning

• One should adapt the strategies and methodologies according to the contexts

• More than simply a tool, the PLEs are part of the learning process and have the necessary potentialities to fuel change in the learning communities

• Elearning has a promising future mainly in the context of lifelong learning but universities tend to stay inside their own walls and they have difficulties in realizing the importance of elearning
