SJU Airport Capacity Enhancement Program $125 millions.

CHALLENGE: Planning, Coordina�on & Scheduling for an aggressive

construc�on Design-Build project during the ac�ve opera�on. I

need to provide a smooth construc�on avoiding any flight delay or

passenger inconvenience during the construc�on process. We have

to integrate a new conveyor system to handle the en�re airport

baggage demand without stop the exis�ng one un�l the

commissioning of the new system. At the same �me see all

construc�on aspects of demoli�on, interior remodela�on, new gate

bridge installa�on, new HVAC systems and improvements on

electrical, mechanical and telecommunica�ons.

CEIBA Demoli�on Project $36 millions.

CHALLENGE: Planning, Coordina�on & Scheduling for ABBOTT north plant in Barceloneta, PR.

Planning with sec�on managers, engineer department, designers and valida�on group the

cri�cal path in the way to make no impact in the manufacturing process for the remaining

u�li�es. Developing the strategy to reach the goals making scopes for all necessary projects

and/or ac�vity and then include them within a master schedule. The result is a schedule

with over two thousands (2,000) ac�vi�es interconnected for sixteen (16) diverse concurrent

projects needed in the prepara�on for a massive demoli�on work, rerou�ng u�li�es,

coordina�on for controlled shutdowns, decommissioning works, asbestos & lead abatement

and restora�on works.

- Producing two weeks look ahead reports with milestones, total slack, ac�on list for

ac�vi�es not in CPM but needs special a6en�on to resolve issues.

- Producing a monthly stakeholder report to maintain informed the high management.

- Coordina�ng job hazard analysis between safety officer and ABBOTT personnel for entry

work permits.

- Chairman the construc�on mee�ng and coordinate all trade works.

- Looks for the en�re quality and safety of all construc�on

ac�vi�es.

Carnival Cruise Pier no. 4

Improvements to the tenants area and the visitors area when

leaving the cruise.

CHALANGE: All the works can not affect the cruise traffic, when a

cruise arrives they brings over 2,000 passengers and during the

visit �me they can freely move through the pier. As a scheduler, I

planned all the working period with the traffic Carnival cruise

schedule to avoid any inconvenience with the visitors, tenants and

administra�on.

(Construction work) - Santurce, PR -$26 millions

CHALANGE: It was an unstable soil beside a lagoon where all the u�li�es was installed

over a thousands of stone columns and all other structures was build over piles. An

interes�ng project with more that 200 employees of our force and another hundreds

of other employees from the subcontractors working in harmony though a big detailed

schedule across all areas of the project.

An important mass traffic project in Puerto Rico.

CHALLENGE: As a design-built project every day is

a new day and also new decisions, the schedule

was a dynamic waving one. With

every design change a new schedule

change occurred but the finish date

doesn't changed. It was a fast track

project with three shiEs to comply

with the milestones.

Condado, PR -$4 millions

A project with a par�cular Puerto Rican governor

interest to promote the tourism.

CHALLENGE: It was an accelerated project with

no �me to delays in a very �ght staging area in the

center of The Condado. The planning was funda-

mental to avoid delays, receiving materials just at

the installa�on �me without storage in place.
